nice hotel very close to Arches

Posted Oct 18, 2014
It was a nice hotel, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was was decent too. However, on the day of my stay, it was too crowded. I had to wait for 10 minutes in the line. They could change the layout a little bit to streamline the flow of people.

Super Nice Hotel!

I would definitely recommend this hotel in a heart beat. Clean, nice breakfast, friendly staff, clean pool and hot tub, fun outside waterfall in pool, fun outside fire pit. Loves this hotel! I will stay there again.

Convenient to parks, good breakfast, laundry.

Posted Sep 21, 2014
Pros: Close to places we were visiting.
Cons: Room temperature too warm even with AC.
Location: Arches national park is amazing. It was also fun to take the scenic route to the winery and the movie museum. We went all the way around the loop.
Staff very helpful. Good recommendations for local eateries.

Good hotel, terrible room!

Posted Sep 20, 2014
Pros: Conveniently located within reasonably distance from National Parks and downtown Moab.
Cons: As a major vendor Expedia should be able to provide its customers with better rooms.
Very disappointed with Expedia for the room we were provided in this pricy hotel. Our room was ready when we arrived for our three night stay. Our room was positioned directly adjacent to the guest laundry room (open twenty four hours). This hotel was fully booked during our stay and the sound of washers and dryers came through the walls and never ceased. I am not quick to complain over goods and services. We anticipated reasonably quiet accommodations, living next door to twenty four hour laundry machines was anything but quiet. When brought to the attention of hotel staff we were told the hotel had no recourse since the room was booked through third party Expedia.

Standard Holiday Inn but great location

Posted Sep 3, 2014
Pros: - Staff - Location
Cons: Breakfast was very crowded and not that nice - everything tasted microwaved and artificial.
Location: - Arches National Park adjacent - Hiking - Cycling - Photography - Scenic drives/walks
Stayed here as a base for exploring Arches NP and could not have picked a better hotel for location - literally 7-8 mins drive from Hotel to the National Park. Ideal for those who want something simple but close. Hotel staff were beyond fantastic and offered us freshly baked cookies on arrival/check-in. They also provided cereal bars for us to take away for the next morning. The receptionist helped us with maps, finding local amenities and offered suggestions for restaurants which she then marked on the map for us (very useful give none of our party came from the south west!) Moab itself had a lot to do; the Blu Pig restaurant and Moab Brewery were highlights (both recommended by the receptionist).

Great hotel which was close to trails and town

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Quiet and comfortable.
Location: Bike, hiking and 3 wheeling. Is there anything else in Moab?
We spent 4 days in Moab and used this hotel as our base. We enjoyed the pool area and the breakfasts were good. It is very close to several paved bike trails that would take us to town and the Arches visitors center as well as expand out to other trails. We would definitely stay here again.

Among the closest to Arches NP

Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: This hotel is among the closest to the Arches NP, so getting there is reasonably hassle-free.
Cons: A larger sign that is clearly visible from the road.
Location: Downtown Moab is really nice, so it would have been great to be able to have it within walking distance. From the Holiday Inn, it is about 2-3 miles.
Very good and professionally lead hotel, as should be expected from a chain. Has all needed facilities including pool, business center, laundry (important for NP hikers), and a reasonably fast WiFi service (not a standart in Utah, as far as I have experienced)

Nice place to stay in Moab

Posted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: Hotel was very nice and easy access to all that Moab has to offer.
Cons: Beds weren't very comfortable.
We stayed at this hotel for two nights and found it very comfortable, but the bed was not very comfortable. The location was good, very close to Arches and about a mile from the Moab town center. I would stay here again.

Nice hotel with recent renovations

Posted Aug 23, 2014
The hotel is very modern due to recent renovations. Comfortable with clean rooms. We noticed, however, that are first floor room window did not lock and came to find out from mgmt that all windows did not have locks yet due to the renovations (as of late Aug 2014). They moved us to the second floor as we have young kids. Be sure to check your window if on first floor - hopefully locks will be installed soon.
