The staff there was really great. Everything was just how we wanted it. There was a big problem on our side for booking and the staff helped us fix our problem. They are so nice and the room was just what we wanted.

Not what we expected.

Posted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: We liked the housekeeping and the pillows.
Cons: Make a warm breakfast!
Location: It's ten minutes through town. Eat at the Moab Diner.
Breakfast was continental but was not stated anywhere as such when we were booking. It was a huge disappointment. It wouldn't take much to cook some bacon and sausage and scramble some eggs but instead if you wanted warm food you had to stand in line for the waffle-makers. The hot chocolate tasted like coffee. Breakfast was a huge disappointment. The staff were extremely helpful and kind, giving us coupons for the restaurant next door. Housekeeping were extremely kind and helpful. The room has the vanity outside of the bathroom so while others are sleeping you cannot get ready without disturbing everyone. Nice pillows.

Pool is small and crowded. Rooms were nice and clean. It was quiet despite a great number of kids.

Nice hotel for the price.

Pros: The price.
Cons: Softer bed.
Location: We enjoyed the Moab Brewery while there. It was located across the street and the food was great! We also hiked and enjoyed the scenery.
Overall experience was enjoyable. The continental breakfast was good with lots of options. The room was clean and looked well kept (impressed especially because it seemed an older hotel). The only thing that could have been better was the bed. It was very firm and I like a softer bed; but for two nights it was doable.

Moab home away from home

The Moab a Valley Inn is conveniently located in the city. The rooms are large. The continental breakfast is amazing and the staff are very pleasant.
