“Not exactly a lodge.”

Appears to be fairly new, would not call it a lodge. Had a mini fridge and microwave, everything worked and is in good great condition. Only complaint would be that room is on the small side, reminds me of an European hotel in that regard.

“Great inexpensive centrally located family hotel”

This was a great inexpensive hotel that had all of the features we were looking for. Refrigerator, microwave, sink, allowed pets, pool/hot tub, allowed pets and centrally located in town. Great walking distance to all the shops and restaurants was really nice. I would recommend this place to anyone.

“Perfect place to crash at night”

Perfect for what I needed, a place to crash in between MTn bike rides. I actually expected less because of how cheap the hotel was.

“Small, but functional.”

For just one person, this room was quite functional. It was very small, but had all the expected room ammenities like TV, air conditioning, microwave, mini-refrigerator, etc. To my surprise it did not have any lamps. There was just one ceiling light over a counter area. Needless to say, lack of bedside lamps precluded any reading in bed. The ambiance was not so good either with the poor lighting. I would have lit some candles if I had any with me. I did not have any trouble sleeping. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet, with no distracting noises like traffic, ice machines, elevators, rowdy neighbors, etc. The two pillows on the bed were functional, but not luxurious. The room was clean and in good condition with no funky smells that sometime linger in motel rooms. The pool and hot tub area looked great with the hot tub being much larger than I expected. Unfortunately I didn't have time to try them out. The staff was friendly and the motel is easy to find just one block west of the main street. It is within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Lastly, the rate was reasonable compared to the other motels in the area. If you are looking for a basic room that will meet basic needs for one or two people, I would recommend River Canyon Lodge.

“Fixer upper”

Third owner and no maintenance done on property that's visible. Holes patched in our bathroom and never painted over. Shower faucet was a guess as how to set the temp. No drain cap in the rusty sink with broken counter. Microwave worked for a few seconds and shut off. No screen on window. Terrible coffee. One of the worst hotels we have ever stayed in. drive on too Bluff Ut.
