Air conditioning system is old and terribly noisy

Desk clerk was not hospitable at all. Acted like she was annoyed to be working at all. Lobby and decor was wonderful. Maids were thoughtful and paitient. AIR CONDITIONER ROARED AND MADE WATER-TRICKLING NOISES. ALL. NIGHT. LONG. Not a good time.

If we were not in a sold out situation on the night that you stayed with us, I am certain that we could have moved you to another room with a less noisy air conditioner. Only stayed one during a road trip from Orlando

Nice clean rooms and very nice staff. Would have stayed longer if it was not a road trip.

Location: I was there on business, but found some great restaurants in the area.
Hotel staff was wonderful, and even found and helped return the Bluetooth I left behind. Room was clean. I always took for granted rooms had a fridge and microwave, particularly Marriotts, and this one did not. I admit I did not check for that on the site beforehand. Facilities were nice. Thanks for a nice overnight stay.

Room had a sour smell. Only there for one night, so didn't change rooms. Breakfast was a disappointment. Surprised at all of this considering this is a Marriott property.

The rooms were clean, but the manager was rude and extremely intolerant of children, especially for a "family hotel". I felt like the children had to walk on eggshells because the manager kept staring at them whenever they were even a little noisy. We were there for a dance competition and the hotel was filled with girls competing, so it's hard for 6-12 year old girls to be completely quiet when there are so many of them. A friend was told to corral her children. My kids are not cattle, thank you. I won't be back!

During hotel "quiet time" (10pm-7am), we try to accommodate those guests who may choose to relax early and sleep late while they are with us. Yes, we are family friendly but not all of our guests over that weekend were with the dance competition. There were many different people in the hotel over that particular weekend and we were getting noise complaints from several guests regarding children running and being noisy early in the mornings and late in the evenings. It is our responsibility to contact the parents of those children and ask them to be more mindful of other guests. We do enjoy having groups in house and hope that if your future competitions bring you back to the area that we will be the hotel of choice. Best Regards, Joy Knodel, General Manager

Overall everything was nice but the morning we were to checkout we realized the cleaning staff took our dirty towels but didn't give us new ones. We didn't realize it until we were getting out of the shower so it was too late then. :-)

There are times when we are sold out that it is necessary to collect dirties and get them cleaned in order to have extras for all of the rooms in the hotel.
