It’s the old ‘you get what you pay for’ line. Old, carpets coming up in the hallway and not the cleanest place to stay.

I apologize for the inconvenience. I looked at your reservation. I see that you had called a week after your check-in date to cancel. Hotel policy to cancel is by 6pm the day of check-in.

We arrived early coming from our cruise. The front desk person was so put out that we were early and she kept repeating that they just cleaned the lobby and we couldn’t stay in there. She wanted us to take our two children and all of our luggage and walk somewhere for breakfast and come back later. She then proceeded to say if we were to check in early, there would be a fee which we said we did not mind . Our room is on the second floor and the door does not automatically close behind you. You have to make sure when you enter or leave that you physically shut the door so it locks. The overnight front desk person was amazing and very helpful.

It sounds like you had a mixed experience with the hotel staff. It's unfortunate that the front desk person during check-in was not accommodating and made you feel unwelcome when you arrived early. However, it's great to hear that the overnight front desk person provided excellent service and was helpful during your stay.Regarding the issue with the door not automatically closing behind you, it's definitely a concern for safety and security. It's good that you brought it up to the overnight staff, and hopefully, they can address the issue to ensure the safety of all guests.Overall, while there were some issues with the initial check-in experience, it's positive that the overnight staff made up for it with their helpfulness and professionalism. It might be worth providing feedback to the hotel management about your experience so they can address any issues and improve their service for future guests.

Pros: great location, clean room, felt safe walking my dogs! Cons: Front desk employee Jamie wasn’t very friendly or welcoming. I was advised the pet fee was $50. I stated at other LaQunita’s I only paid $25 tx. She pointed to the sign on the desk. I was advised there was a pet station with bags. I found the receptacle for the bags and it was empty. There wasn’t an area that was designated for dogs and the three trash cans around the property were overflowing. If patrons are expected to adhere to the pet policy it might be in your best interest to insure your patrons know the specific location on the property for the pets to go! It’s a good thing I always have dog bags with me! Last word, I’ve stayed at many LaQuinta’s and am always pleased! This was my first experience that was so-so!

I’m an amputee and showing on one leg is difficult enough shower chair is always a must but this time the shower head kept falling and would stay where I wanted it to be. I ran the water and walked away for a second and the shower head was pointing to the sink and water was all over the floor. I told the front desk that morning before leaving for the day and next morning it did the same thing. I also told them it didn’t look like it had been clear lately. They don’t clean it at all. I paid good morning to sleep there the least they could have done was to make sure things worked.

Hotel lobby and rooms had a cold feeling and did not evoke a home-like atmosphere. Beds were squeaky every time you moved within the bed or got in/out of the beds. Size of TV in the room was outstanding. Nosiest guests at the hotel than I have experienced in almost two weeks of staying at assorted hotels this year. Hotel was under construction which is not publicized.

Very clean room and comfy stay. No issues at all. The girl at the front desk was extremely helpful. I thought I lost my wallet and she assisted me with retrieving a bag I thought I left it in. No questions asked. Definitely great service and I will stay here again.

Our room was not as clean as it should have been the first night. There was fur/ dust bunnies all around the floor. The toilet had black marks in it that we thought were stains. The next day the room was cleaned- the floor was much better and all the black marks in the toilet were gone. Housekeeping was much better the second day. Also, the hotel, including our room was musty smelling. We were told one of the floors had flooded and they were trying to dehumidify the building. The lobby had plastic on the ceiling.

The outside area when we drove up was beautiful Ck in would have been ok but computers were down And only one lady working there . It took over 1 hr to ck in . Not her fault not even anyone else in line before us or after us. . When we ckd in our room it looked clean but definitely has a foul Oder . The air was not putting out cold air . Loved💕 the large smart TV. Breakfast was nice and clean but the taste was. Not good

The property is water logged. We walk into a dark lobby, furniture removed, ceiling with plastic due to water damage throughout. Third floor plastic drapped to close off one damaged wing. Smells musty, cold. Really disappointed. Bright spot is the woman at the front desk who accomodated our room request, we just wish she could have booked us at another hotel! Stains on bottom sheet either nail polish or blood? Our TV is broken, pink screen. We turned it off and can't wait to get out.
