Pros: Location to downtown
Cons: Room cleanliness. Managements understanding of the business, their management of staff and responsiveness to customer complaints.
Location: Plenty of late night bars with love music - college town
The location was great, the price was reasonable. However, the bed was made over dirty sheets - body fluid stains and sand! The young lad in Reception was as helpful as he could be and changed the sheets - no other rooms were available. Several walkways were flooded, many beds were unmade and unoccupied and the room next to us (also unoccupied) was left open. Management needs to think if they are in the right business.

You get what you pay for

The room was cheap and wasn't particularly clean. The air conditioning didn't work and it was very humid and hot. There were no towels or toilet paper when we arrived.

Nice hotel and great location

It was a great room it was clean until I got to the bathroom it had a old toilet seat on the toilet it look horrible and when I flushed the toilet it broke I had to fix the chain on the toilet so it would flush

Great Service and a Cheap Hotel

Cons: It was kind of dirty
Location: Wasn't there long enough to see, but it's downtown Mobile so I'm sure theres something.
We all know what a Quality Inn is. It's a quick hotel to avoid sleeping at a rest stop. The only reason I'm actually writing a review is because the hotel staff was so nice (most people only do it when there's something bad). I pulled up and she had my stuff ready and even had all the times written out on the room key sleeve.

Convenience to venue, but subpar amenties

Our room had coffee, but no coffee pot. Ask for one, didn't get it as promised. The breakfast bar was subpar, the coffee maker broken and there wasn't any milk, the cereal was stale and the breakfast bar wasn't a complete meal. Very dissatisfied. The staff was polite, but didn't seem to want to go that extra mile for the guest. The bathtub was dirty looking and the toilet ran and we had to fix it each time we used it. If we come back to this venue, we will not stay at this Quality Inn.

We have upgraded to one cup coffee makers in our rooms, I apologize that one of our staff members did not notify you of this at the time of the issue. Also I do apologize for the breakfast room coffee maker as it was out of our control but we did have the problem fixed promptly.

Close to everything.

It was a very busy time in the city a lot of conventions and Mardi gras. The manager was super nice . Other than the renovations and the unavailabilty of the pool. We were happy with our stay and would visit again when in town.

Affordable downtown hotel

For the price, I was satisfied with our stay. I was concerned about the neighborhood and conditions of the hotel, as well as the hotel staff, after reading many online reviews. I agreed with some of the reviews, but overall the stay was better than anticipated (based on the reviews). The hotel staff was courteous, incredibly friendly, and accommodating. The hotel parking is free and in a fenced-in lot. I felt perfectly safe there. The rooms could definitely use some maintenance and a deep clean. The carpet was pretty dirty and could use shampooing. Our shower did not drain properly and water was retained as you showered. My sheets were not the cleanest (old stains on them), but were replaced when asked. Our heating and cooling unit worked well and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast consisted of eggs, sausage links, waffles, cereal, bagels, coffee, and juice. As items ran out, they were replenished in a timely manner. Overall, I couldn't beat the price and would return if in the area.
