Industrial area motelPosted Mar 19, 2014
Pros: Nothing really, just a place to sleep.
Cons: Almost everything could be improved, but expecially the cleaning of the rooms and the breakfast items.
Not a good location; not dangerous or anything like that, just located in a rather unattractive area. The room was fairly clean, until I had to get behind the nightstand to plug in the lamps. Then I could see how the staff doesn't really care about cleanliness in spaces that aren't readily seen. I could have the bedside lamps plugged in or the bedside clock, but not both. There was a floor lamp in the corner but it didn't work. Comfort level of the bed was just ok. The breakfast items consisted almost completely of carbohydrates - pretty common but not good if you need to keep your blood glucose levels in an acceptable range. Lots of construction workers staying here so plenty of loud trucks starting up early in the morning. I would not stay here again.

Rudest Hotel Manager I have EVER encounteredPosted Mar 5, 2014
This was our second stay at this hotel. We will NOT be back. The hotel manager started calling our room at 9:00 am to see if we had left, check out is 11:00. At check in he did explain the there was no smoking on our side of the building, however we had 2 rooms and not all of our party had arrived. The next morning 2 from our party were standing behind their car in the parking lot smoking. He came out to tell them it was not allowed, but he was very rude and hateful about it. They apologized but that was not good enough for him. He was rude and would not stop. He went back into the office and called our room to complain to me about it. I also apologized to him and said it would not happen again. Again not good enough. He then started telling me it was almost time to leave. We still had over an hour until checkout time. I realize that his rule was broken, but at this point I could not go back in time and change what had happened. The ONLY thing I could do was to apologize, but that rude man was not going to accept it. At 10:30 he called the other room again saying "almost checkout time this is your wake up call" knowing full well we were up and getting ready to leave. This man was rude and harassing during our short stay. We visit Mobile often and vow NEVER to stay at this hotel again.

Great hotelPosted Dec 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a very clean hotel that meets the needs of someone passing through. The breakfast was very good, with multiple options. The staff was friendly and accomodating. I would stay there again.

Good Bang for your BuckPosted Dec 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
I work in Mobile and live an hour away, so I needed somewhere not too expensive to stay so that I would have somewhere to crash when I got off of work late. I have stayed there twice now and each time I am pleasantly surprised. I got a King non-smoking, the rooms are very clean, which really impressed me. There was a Microwave, refrigerator, iron and full sized ironing board in the room which I thought was great for the price. They even offer breakfast!, however I have always left to early to see what kind it is (probably continental, but not sure). For $57 bucks AFTER taxes you can't beat it! The heating/air unit was easy to use...and worked well the unit wasn't dusty and dirty like most units you see in hotels and it worked very well. The location is decent...near the highway can easily get to the downtown area in probably about 15 minutes. As a woman I would have liked for the parking lot to have more lighting though...even though the hotel is in a good location it still is kind of secluded hard to describe. Not in a typical area where most hotels are that have lots of restaurants and stores around but yet it wasn't too far from a place to eat, etc., again...it definitely could use a little more lighting. I more than likely will stay there again so if anything changes I'll post it :).

Not bad for pricePosted Nov 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
It wasn't probably in the greatest neighborhood. I noticed that when I had to wait for the front desk person to unlock the lobby door when I arrived around 7pm. The room wasn't bad. I am not always crazy about motels with entrances to the room from the lot (even though they are convenient for luggage). Toilet was running all night, but I closed the bathroom door to block out the sound. Bed was a little uncomfortable for my back problems. Decent size room, Plenty of channels on cable and Wifi worked. Breakfast was small, but still bigger than my breakfast at my previous night stay at a different motel. Loved the mini waffle maker. There is a Hardees next door.
