Splendid refuge in the country

Posted Apr 6, 2014
Our rooms would have been a bargain anyhow, but just to top it off we were upgraded to suites. It is a fine building in a good situation deep in the Provencal countryside.

Very nice mid-France hotel

Posted Oct 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is very nice. The staff very kind and helpful. The resturant was great. The menu had many choices and the prices were lower than I would have thought for the quality of the hotel. Our food was very good. The only issue I had was that we were put in the room right over the resturant area and it was noisy until it closed. Other than that, a great stay and one I fully recommend.

Beautiful hotel in beautiful area

Posted Sep 30, 2012 on Hotels.com
A very nice experience, fine hotel in beautiful locaton with good grounds, views and public areas; outstanding restaurant and service. Our room was a bit cramped, with a slight drain problem but well fitted and pretty. Would love to go back, maybe upgrade to one of the better rooms.

Great option near Gorges Du Verdon

Posted Oct 21, 2010
Bastide du Verdon is an excellent option for those wishing to visit Gorges du Verdon (Grand Canyon of Verdon) and the beautiful town of Moustiers Ste Marie. We stayed one night during the off-season. The hotel is beautifully situated on a hill with olive trees. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and very helpful in English for those of us who speak limited French. The on-site restaurant offered an easy option with the continental buffet breakfast. Dinner in the restaurant, while a bit expensive, was very good.
