Property has been impeccably maintained, food was excellent as always with lots of variety, and especially loved the daytime food stations that are always fresh and hot. Lots of activities for everyone especially the kids, decent but small gym, lots of pools, and very friendly staff. I had one issue that was promptly addressed. A !

The place was nice and clean and the staff was amazing. My parents had a great time. One of the staff Elizabeth was exceptional went out her way to make my mum, Rose feel well taken care off during the stay. The whole experience was great. My dad loved getting his newspapers every morning. It was amazing.

Wonderful facilities, beautiful views, very well maintained. Lots of space and room to enjoy and relax. Poor standards of service in all restaurants apart from some excellent staff like James (total star), Catherine and Joel. Food below average.

Sarova Whitesands is an excellent facility with one of the best beaches in the world. This was our second consecutive stay at the hotel. We loved it so much last year that we returned this summer and stayed for six days and we could have stayed longer. The staff is professional, courteous and responsive to requests. The food is delicious. The variety of pools provides options for children and adults and the rooms are well serviced. I used the Ozone children’s club for my son and the spa and I would give both a 5 star rating. We will be back!!!

Great dependable venue that we have stayed at many time. Outstanding service from waiters, cleaners, staff in general. The only reason I don’t give it a 5, is that we were given a room very far from the dining area and entrance which meant that my dad had to go up and down several stairs to get to the room from the dining area. They were able to move him to a ground room, but it was even further away! Considering we were staying for 5 nights, I’d have hoped for more accommodation. Otherwise they were great. Beautiful beaches, clean facilities, excellent location and setup.

The staff were outstanding. Had the best massage I have ever had at the Spa. The food was better than we have had elsewhere in Africa. The property itself was beautiful and well taken care of! The security was top notch ! However, there were bugs in the room. My friend was completely eaten up with bug bites!!! Our room location was not what was touted to be. The swimming and beach were an utter disappointment. At low tide it smelled and you couldn’t swim.

The hotel is really lovely. The buildings and grounds are very well maintained. It is on the beach. There are 4 swimming pools, beautifully clean and the water is perfect. Breakfast is delicious with many options. Dinner also has many options including a seafood restaurant. Fir me the dinner food is not quite right. Vegetarian is the best choice. Though there's ice-cream. Room was beautiful and well cleaned, if late in the day. Pick up worked well.overal, great

This hotel is very beautiful and the staff is friendly, for me my issue is the prices for the food and amenities. The mini bar is boarder line thievery and the amminties are way over prices like 20 minutes for 40$ to rent a wave runner. The whole place is set up to keep you there and keep your money there. If you want a luxury hotel like in the states it's great, if you want to experience the real Kenya and it's culture this isn't your place.

Sarova White Sands in Mombasa is a great hotel and easily one of the best. The only problem I have is that it gets incredibly crowded due to its size and therefore the amenities such as the main dining room gets super congested. The food selection is wide however the quality of some dishes (especially the curries) that stand for a while tend to spoil easily. The curry I had was not heated at all. The property however is beautiful and expansive. The service from staff and their concierge section and transport is super professional and very affordable as is the hotel itself.

From starting morning with a fresh breakfast buffet with varity is wonderful. Then take off for a walk on the beach grab a drink and relax. Every staff member with a greeting makes for a wonderful home feeling. Whitesands and Mombasa are top destination for singles, married couples and family something for everyone! Will definitely be back for another wonderful week and experience.

Whitesands is even more beautiful in person. We experienced excellent service, loved our room, delicious food and easy access to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The children’s club was so much fun for my son and the option to have free adult time was very welcome. Be sure to use the spa which exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back to stay at the Whitesands. The pools and well cared for facilities are even more beautiful in person,

Great amenities. Great location. Very safe. Amazing breakfast. My only suggestion is to share with guests when they arrive the amenities that are available. No one showed me the pool or the secret pool or the hot tub of the hammocks or the bar or anything. A run down of all the awesomeness would have helped. But a great big gem on the Indian Ocean.

The stay at the hotel was good and rooms too. The AC system was good but the water leaked in the room and after requesting the service, no one came to fix it.

This hotel has exceeded my expectations….the hotel is located next to bamburi beach with lots and lots of water sport activities as well as other attractions that will keep you busy during your vacation. However the highlight of it all is the sarova staff. They went above and beyond to make our vacation memorable. Special thanks goes to Nixon and the entertainment team, you guys deserve all the luck in the world without you this hotel would probably have been a bit dull. I was amazed as to how your charismatic and the whole team energy lights up this hotel…. Also anderson thank you for the small birthday decorations it was soooo beautiful and my partner loved it also with our daily small conversation on the way to the room. We also have nelson on the reception even though i was barely there he made sure to have that professionalism.. and to all the staff of whitesands Asante Sana you have made the begining of my holiday one to remember… remember always its the staff that makes the place worth a billion dollar….

2nd visit after 2 years.
This is our second time to stay at this hotel. Check in was very smooth and straightforward. The breakfast and dinner was full of variety and all tasted fresh. The five swimmming pools were clean and lifeguards on attendance at aĺl times. The pool staff especially Justus,were friendly and approachable. A few of the dinner staff could do with a refresher on customer service but most were helpful. It would be better to open the drinks at the table, you can then be confident that it is freshly opened.The animations team tried hard! The drink choices at the bars was vast with Eric at the Lido bar deserving a special mention on his knowledge. We would recommend this hotel for all types of groups.
