Decent hotel, fair price for areaPosted Sep 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
Room was large enough, some minor fittings a little worn but definitely not an issue. Bathroom and room very clean. A little out of the way however not a bad walk and bus stop is nearby. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Recommended and would stay again.

ok for a short visitPosted Aug 6, 2013
Pros: It was a small Italian hotel, with a beautiful view of the bay
Cons: Restaurant was only open at 7:30pm and no other close eating areas around.
Location: Location was on a small street in an out of the way area.
This hotel was adequate for the short stay that we were there. Staff quick to solve air conditioner problem. Only downfall was it was on a out of the way street and bit away from main attractions. They said 10-15 minutes to almost everywhere, but not so. Much farther.

The hotel was a twenty minute walk from the harbor. We walked and saw the evening lights and club scene. There is a laundry around the corner. The rooms were descent. People were stand-off-ish. The older gentleman at the desk during the day was cool but the night guy didn't even say hello to us and gave us a look of discuss as we smiled and politely spoke and walk to the elevator. I assumed he was calling security. Lol breakfast was ok not bad. The housekeeping will knock on the door a hour ahead of time and she told us we had five minutes of course we laughed.

Good hotel to experience the magic of MonacoPosted Jun 19, 2013
Pros: View from the hotel balcony
Cons: walking up the steep road to the hotel after a full days walking in town.
Location: Acessible to all the major attractions.
To find a reasonable hotel in Monaco at any time is not easy. The Forum was pretty much what we expected. The rooms are fairly small but clean, all with Lift Access. The location of the hotel is close to the railway station but you have to walk up a fairly steep road unless if you want to take a taxi, which is quite expensive. On the 6. floor you find a balcony with seating area and a view to die for over the famous Monaco harbor. Once you got your bearings the hotel is well located to access all the major points of interest on foot. The breakfast offers a variety of continental goodies to keep you going for most of the day. For Monaco we found this hotel to be reasonable priced and can definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to experience a visit to this magic Principality. Thank you to all the people who made our visit enjoyable. Hans & Marlene

Great location with views across MonacoPosted Jun 18, 2013
Pros: The breakfast was the icing on the cake for us... It was included in the room price and was of a great standard.
Cons: The bathroom was a little shabby and it was difficult to shower with no screen or curtain, but with a little creative thinking was perfectly usable.
Location: Excellent location but be prepared for a hike to get back after a day out.
This is a surprisingly nice hotel for the price. I stayed in a twin room with a friend for 3 nights and we were very pleased with it. But it might not be suitable for everyone... I'll start with the positives... The room was clean and a good size for a short stay. Breakfast was included in the price of our room which we hadn't realised, we weren't expecting much but were again pleasantly surprised. There was a big bowl of various fresh fruits, a choice of cereals and muesli, bread, meat & cheese, croissants, eggs for boiling plus coffee, juices and a variety of teas. It was all very fresh and tasted great. There is a roof terrace which is accessible from the 5th floor with chairs & loungers and a fantastic view across Monaco. The staff were very friendly and able to converse in multiple languages. The negatives... The decor is quite dated and the bathroom fittings could benefit from some maintenance, but everything worked and there was plenty of hot water so we were happy enough. The location is excellent, just a few minutes walk from the station, but be prepared the climb to get home after a day out. To get from the hotel to the waterfront there are several sets of steps and steep hills... It's a good workout but wouldn't suit anyone who's not in good shape. All in all we were very happy with this hotel... I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic getaway but for anything else it's ideal.

Ok for a short stay.Posted May 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is ok but basic, I wouldn't want to stay for and extended holiday stay, however is fine for business or a weekend stay. The hotel if located elsewhere would be much cheaper, you are paying a Monaco premium. All in all a average to good hotel. Parking was a little difficult as the neighbourhood is tightly packed and the hotel has no official parking.

good value for near-monaco locationPosted May 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
Was close to Monaco, just a block or so away, albeit with a bit of a climb from some areas. Generally helpful staff. Internet did have some times it was a bit slow.

OK price for area, but would be less elsewhere.Posted May 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel was great for me as it was just a 1 night stay for business and was close to Monaco. I wouldn't really want to stay there for a whole week as the hotel is very basic. If the hotel was not so close to Monaco and was in a regular town then I am sure it would be priced a lot cheaper. It over looks Monaco but is actually in France, the surrounding neighbourhood is ok but the hotel is located in a very small tightly packed area and doesn't off its own parking, you have to park out on the street which can be difficult as there are tow away zones. I was OK as these are not active on a Sunday when I were there. I would stay again, but not for an extended time.
