Great location and staff. Disappointing decor!Posted Sep 16, 2014
Perfect location. Within walking distance to and from everywhere. However my partner and I was a little disappointed with the decor of our room. It looked as though they attempted to renovate it but poorly. It wasn't a 4 star room! We booked a port view room and but they offered us a first floor room which had a over hang from the floors above which obscured the view which meant no view at all. If they offered you first floor room, ask to move up a level if you want a view!

Great location, outstanding servicePosted Aug 28, 2014
This is one of the best hotel I stayed at. Service was outstanding the room size was large compare to room sizes in Europe. The bed was very comfortable.

Well located hotel overlooking Port HerculePosted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: Huge beds, great location, comfortable rooms, blackout curtains.
Cons: Try and get rid of the pong in reception, add a proper bar/lounge area on the 6th floor, provide complimentary water/coffee AND TEA for us Brits! :-)
Location: We crossed the road to the pizzeria opposite which had some nice sofas to relax on and 50cl Heineken for €6, which seemed quite cheap for Monaco.
Hotel is 5 mins walk from train station exit, right on the Grand Prix circuit and overlooking the huge yachts in Port Hercule. We had a super yacht directly outside our window and we could spy on the owner having breakfast and socialising with friends whilst being waited on hand and foot by his staff! We were on the 3rd floor and unfortunately the trees blocked the view to any other yachts - you may be okay on a higher floor. The restaurant on the top floor (6) is advertised as having a "bar/lounge" area but we couldn't find it - it was too formal for us, we would have liked somewhere to chill out, maybe on some sofas overlooking the port. The hotel is nice but strikes me as a fairly standard "corporate traveller" type hotel. There's nothing particularly outstanding about it, it does appear to have a good gym, although I didn't use it, but there is no swimming pool - however Monaco's public pool is just a few minutes away. There is a strange pong in reception when you walk in through the front door, kind of a pungent, stale urine smell, but the reception staff are lovely and are probably used to it! Also as we didn't spend much time in reception it didn't bother us. Breakfast appears to be served in a small restaurant area by reception but we ate out (it's cheaper!). We were a bit surprised to be charged for the in-room coffees (€4 each for a shot of espresso) - we thought these were complimentary. Also there's no complimentary bottled water or tea in the room.

Amazing views!Posted Aug 7, 2014
Pros: The view and staff.
Cons: The carpets and furniture seemed dated and worn.
Location: Watch yachts dock, casino, cafe de paris, shopping.
Pleasant stay. Staff was courteous and helpful. Room was very large. Large bathroom with separate tub and shower. TV had more channels than any other hotel on our three week tour. Room on upper floor with amazing view of harbor. Did not use dining facilities. Excellent location.

Nice hotel in city centre adjacent to the harbourPosted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Location, freshness and cleanliness
Cons: Charges for tea and coffee making facilities in the room and excessive costs of minibar items
Location: Monte Carlo- well everything a millionaire needs in their playground!!!!
Great hotel, clean, tidy, easy to find and in a great location in the city centre/harbour. Continental breakfast was excellent. Room was spacious and exceedingly clean. The only negative was the cost of the minibar items and room tea/coffee making prices- other than that, great stay. Wifi connection was very good and throughout the hotel.

Outstanding!!Posted Jun 12, 2014
Pros: Very very central, couldn't be in a better position in Monaco, smack in the middle, close to everything. All the staff were fantastic, very helpful.
Location: Situated right on the water, overlooks all the super launches and harbour.
I booked this room online, very last minute! Turned up to book in and turns out I had booked the night before!! Eeeeek!! What a stressful day, first train strikes so had to wait with 100's of others in 35 degree heat to go from Nice to Monaco only to find out I had booked in for the night before!! Greg on reception felt bad for us and although we had lost our booking, couldn't be refunded but he gave us a HUGE discount on the room for the night, not only that but put us in the BEST Executuve Suite in the hotel with complimentary breakfast!!....we felt like royalty :) the room was AMAZING!!

Great hotel close to the waterPosted Jun 8, 2014
Pros: Front staff service, proximity to bus stop and train station, valet parking available.
If you're lucky enough, you'll get waterside views from your room. The bed is comfy and most of the amenities were very good. I personally did not like the positing of the toilet but this is an extremely small point. It still worked and was very clean. The addition of the free chocolates also helped the experience. Exceptional front staff. They were very professional. Close to Hotel de Paris by foot, very close to the train station if you can find the stairs going down to the water, bus stop right opposite the hotel, parking is available both valet and right next to the yachts if driving.
