Best hotel choicePosted May 23, 2015
Pros: The location and views from the room. The convenience of getting around.
Cons: Do away with the horrible restaurant they lease out on the 6th floor. The Port Palace should have their own 'reputable' restaurant.
Location: Great area right in the Port of Hercules amongst multi-million dollar yachts. you can see the Palace and Mediterranean sea from your room.
Without a doubt this was the best and most impressive hotel I have ever stayed at. large comfortable room with modern ammenities - clean and modern. The location is convenient and walkable to all areas. The staff were always pleasant and made you feel welcome. i could not have been more pleased with my stay at The Port Palace.

Excellent location, very close to the marina.Posted May 19, 2015
Pros: Location, size of room, views of marina.
Cons: We were on the 3rd floor and the only negative was the trees opposite the hotel obstructed our view of the marina.
Rooms were very spacious and the bathrooms very impressive. The beds were huge and comfortable. Staff were all very polite and friendly.

Nice hotel right in the middle of everything.Posted Apr 29, 2015
Pros: Everything but the nickel and dime'ing. The restaurant on the top floor of the hotel was excellent!
Cons: the nickel and dime'ing
Location: Everything was close and easily accessed; Old town, the Oceanographic Museum, the Palace, the Casino and restaurants.
The hotel, location, access, staff, everything was great. The only negative was everything was nickel and dime, which i did not expect from such a nice hotel. I was surprised for a 4 night stay that 2 coffee pods were included, but any more than that was a 4 Euro charge... For the full stay. Not 2 coffee pods per day. Bump the price 8 Euro's a night and include them. Made it feel like a lower service hotel than it actually was. There was also a statement about bringing outside food and drink into the hotel that they would charge you for the item, and a service charge they would've charged you to deliver. I've seen lots of hotels state outside food and drink is forbidden, but that's a first to charge both the cost they would charge for the item if they found you brought it and a service charge. Had to stop after walking around the old town to throw out a coke in our bag before entering the lobby.

Fabulous location, great staff, average restaurantPosted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: The staff and our room were both exceptionally good. Nothing was too much trouble for the reception staff - and always with a smile.
Cons: The restaurant is significantly over-priced for very average food. I would not recommend.
Location: A fabulous location, right on the harbour, and easy to walk to all the sites.
Booked the Port Palace for my wife's birthday. Fabulous location, a wonderful second-floor room overlooking the magnificent boats, fabulous staff throughout our stay - nothing was too much trouble. The only disappointment was the meal we booked in the restaurant for our last night, to celebrate my wife's birthday - which should have been a special occasion. Our 'reserved' table over-loking the harbour had been given to another couple! And whilst the starter (we both chose the soup) was good, our main course was a huge disappointment - the beef was extremely fatty and could not be eaten. The waiter (who was very good / attentive throughout) offered us desserts as compensation, but that did not make up for our main course, sadly….

Pros: great location, right on the harbour
Cons: the pillows were too soft for me, even two were annoying.
Location: No.2 bus outside the hotel to go to the casino or exotic Jardin one way, walk down the hill near the church to catch the bus in the other direction
great staff, restaurant and little free cheeseboard with drink was a lovely touch. great location.

Great location, beautiful hotelPosted Mar 20, 2015
Went to Monaco for the Arsenal game, had a king size marina view room which was top class. The F1 track route comes right under the window so if booking to see the F1 this hotel is the one! Monaco was less impressive really not much to do, travelled all over Europe and found things to do however Monaco is just a play ground for millionaires as every shop is a name rather than a pub or sweet shop. Not impressed with Monaco rather overhyped but the hotel was first class

Very good hotelPosted Mar 18, 2015
It conveniently located next to the train station. It is at the starting point of the hop-on hop-off bus station. The room is clean. The staffs are very nice and helpful.
