“Sonia”

I stayed in this hotel last year and they have made substantial changes. I was disappointed that the gym was not open yet but there is a trail right behind the hotel along the water. Hot breakfast is served in the newly renovated breakfast area. Conveniently located not too far from the airport, not too far from the Université de Moncton and on Main street. The staff is always very helpful. Competitive prices.

Area recommendations

If you have time, take the drive to Hopewell Rocks (a MUST see). If you have less time and a car, try the Magnetic Hill.

“Disappointed”

We were disappointed because we were put in the old part of the motel. The room itself, was what I would call dingy; not very welcoming. The carpet in the room was extremely stained. There was no ventilation system in the bathroom, but the shower was great. We were pleased our stay was only one night. The TV had only a few English channels. Wish we had something better to report.

We were on the main street, so everything was right there. Also shopping was literally one minute down the road. Awesome!

“Great Hotel - conveniently located”

Recommend this Hotel. Staff were friendly, Hotel was clean and comfortable. Metro is right at the front door so getting into town is a breeze.

Old City is beautiful - well worth a visit. Easy to access on the Metro

Getting around

Metro is right at the front door. it is an easy and cheap means of transport. I suggest you park your car at the Hotel (which is free) and catch the Metrto.

“Downtown Location”

This is an older property in downtown Moncton, right next to tidal bore park. All rooms were refurbished this year. Continental breakfast is quite good. This is a very nice place and the staff is excellent.

“Not impressed at all.”

The newer section of the hotel seemed nicer than the older, "motel" section. The room had not been updated since the 80"s? The furniture was old and mismatched. Worst of all, there were smashed mosquitos on the walls of the room. Yuck!

Traveler's tip

The location was good. There were restaurants nearby and the tidal bore was in the back.
