It was a nice hotel and we will stay there again. They had a wonderful breakfast line up!!!!

Check-in was quick and easy, Staff was very friendly and the room was very clean. Looks as if the hotel is fairly new, the only complaint we had is once you step outside the hotel, you smell the horrible smell of chicken processing plant throughout the town. This is the best hotel in Monett so I would stay there again.

Room was very cold. Heating was inadequate.

“Very Disappointed”

When I booked the room, I specifically asked for a handicap accessible bathroom. Upon arriving at the hotel, the desk clerk stated that once the room is booked through Expedia, they couldn't change it on their system. The desk clerk did change the room from the second floor to the first floor. I am still confused as to why they could change the room from the second floor to the first floor but couldn't change it to a handicap accessible room. This makes no sense to me. The same challenge came up at another hotel and they were able to make the change. Once in the room, I went to plug my laptop in and the nearest socket to the desk was next to the TV stand and on the floor next to the stand was a rotting strawberry. I am not a CIS expert but it appeared to have been there several days. Also, when we pulled the blankets back on the beds there was an old dirty tissue, a child's small toy, and other trash. Fortunately, the beds themselves appeared to be clean and so did the bathroom. The beds were extremely firm. While this was ok for my brother whose accustomed to sleeping on anything, it was hard on my back. The breakfast bar was satisfactory and they kept it open later than the listed hours which was greatly appreciated. Overall, I was very disappointed.
