The area around the hotel was very smelly, due to a nearby pig slaughterhouse. However, the hotel was serviceable and clean and the front desk staff members were helpful. The breakfast provided was very sparse, so don't plan on a big spread for the continental breakfast. It worked for our needs.

Quick Trip
Just visiting out daughter at college. Room was perfect. 3 queen beds for all of us to hangout in! Room was very large and very clean! We were able to bring our two dogs, just had to pay $25 per dog. Definitely will stay again!

Nobody at front desk to help except when we checked in. Towels were dirty, had to go buy our own. Breakfast was a joke, two choices of cold cereal. Blanket had stains of I don't know what on them. Toilet barely worked. Shower had no water pressure. Only good thing was the bed was comfortable and the AC worked great.

The room had a chemical smell like a strong air freshener. I couldn’t figure out where it was coming from. It bothered me all night and I woke up with a migraine. When I got home my jacket that I hung up still had the smell. Other than that the bed was ok, the pillows were lumpy, the room didn’t have a coffee maker, but did have a fridge and microwave. The 2nd floor hallway smelled like weed.

This hotel is good for the price. Good dining is near but nothing walkable. Says more about Modern American road system than the hotel.

This hotel was a nice hotel especially for the price. We did have to ask the front desk for another towel and wash cloth as they only supply two for the room which had two queen beds. Water pressure is not fantastic but adequate. Room was comfortable. Beds were not the most comfortable for my wife and son, I did not seem to have much issue. Price was great and location for Monmouth college and Monmouth in general is great. Will look to stay again.

The ratings seem off but just as good as Americinn nearby. Rooms clean and just as good although Americinn looks more remodeled this is just as good of place if you're getting a better price so don't be afraid.
