“Great hospitality”
Easy access tot he hotel from the interstate. The staff is excellent. Great rate for a family of three.
“Hotel Monroe”
We enjoyed our trip very much. The hotel room was clean and tidy. We were greeted with a smile or acknowledgment upon arrival and departure with a greeting and smile.
“Nice Motel”
Very nice hotel. I've stayed in Monroe quite a bit & this is the best hotel in this price range. My local contact told me that the area surrounding the hotel isn't the greatest, but I never noticed at all. I recommend it.
“Not bad, but wouldn't go back.”
Not a bad hotel, most of the staff were nice, there were some young hotel employees who were quite rude to other guests which was noticed by everyone. Our room was pretty small for a suite, but nice and clean, however the bathroom was awful, toilet didn't flush properly and the shower head broken. Apparantly the poor plumbing was the same across the whole hotel. Our stay was only for 1 night, so it wasn't too bad considering we were there for less than 15 hours. I wouldn't stay here again, and I would probably be very hesitant to stay at another Comfort Suites.
“goin' to granny's”
I was traveling with my two children, and was happy that the hotel was very easy to find right off the interstate. There was plenty of restaurants around and the front desk staff was very helpful. I tthink the only thing I didn't care for was the breakfast. It did not provide any source of protein at all unless you count the sausage that was in the biscuits and gravy. It was however a carb lovers dream with bagels, cereal, toast, waffles (great waffles!), biscuits, sweet rolls, etc...sadly no protein!!
“Good Value, Not the Best Neighborhood”
Everything about this hotel on the inside was great. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. They provided snacks in the evening and breakfast in the morning. This hotel was a good value for the price. However, the people I worked with who live in Monroe said this is a bad part of town. They suggested that I stay in my room and do not leave the building after sunset. They also said not to eat at any of the restaurants and fast food chains in the area as they are dangerous as well.
