Carpet was extremely dirty in some spots & there was a pervasive odor throughout the room-not certain if smoke or mildew-maybe both. "This is a charming old hotel in the old town. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean and comfortable with good facilities. Breakfast was excellent. On site parking was a real bonus. The hotel messaged us in advance to let us know about potential disruption from works to the gas main in the road outside."
