In itself, the property is beautiful. Very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The pool area is well kept and it a lovely large pool. Unfortunately, my whole experience of the place was marred by a very rude receptionist who decided to accuse me of stealing part of the deposit I had left for my pool towel. She insisted that she had placed two 10 euro notes onto the counter when she had only placed one. It was especially upsetting as it was my birthday and my first conversation of the day. I would not go back due to this member of staff.

Hotel is in a great location right on the beach and in walking distance of bars and restaurants. The grounds are attractive and well kept with pools, play area, tennis courts etc. However the building is very dated and badly needs renovation.

I love this Hotel and its excellent breakfasts, close proximity to the beach and town. We have stayed many times but not for the past few years and appreciated the refurbishments which had been carried out.

Lovely location
Great location with a view of the beach from our balcony. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Would personally prefer a walk in shower to a bath/shower combo.

Somewhat dated looking and caters to older clientele (average age seemed to be about 75). Misleading room assignment (promised garden view looked into driveway and was in basement). Nice pool, close to beach, good breakfast.

We had a wonderful two weeks and would definitely return. The food was excellent with lots of choice. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The position right on the beach is also great. Staff were always helpful.

This hotel is located on the beach which boasts a lovely boardwalk. Hotel is very spacious with a lovely reading room where one can relax and enjoy the lovely views. There was music every night which was lovely. Bedrooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was the best we have ever eaten abroad with a great variety. The pool area is was very clean but very few ventured into the pool as the water was very cold. I would highly recommend this hotel and location for a relaxing holiday. It has a fabulous beach which is always a plus.

We enjoyed our stay for 3 nights. The breakfast and dinner was ok, as it was included in the price. It was nice to have tea and biscuits in the afternoon. The staff was wonderful. It was winter therefore many retirees were staying here and it was definitely an older crowd. We rented bikes across the street and it is an excellent area to bike. They are building a beautiful boardwalk. I would definitely come back to stay for a short time.

Dated rooms in need of a makeover
The rooms are old and in need of a good paint and clean. The bath was yellow with age and was not very appealing to shower in let alone bathe. I reported to the receptionist, I think his name was Raphael that I was unhappy with the state of the room and that the bin had not been emptied. I asked to change room, and despite the lady receptionist saying the previous day that the hotel was very quiet, he stated he had no rooms. He was extremely unhelpful, and I would go as far as to say arrogant. The other people working their were fine. I would say that the beds appeared new and the bedding was fine. The areas outside of the room are also good and generally well kept. It is a pleasant location right next to the beach.

Standing the test of time!
This is not a new hotel and some areas are starting to look there age. That said it is a warm and pleasant hotel. The staff are excellent and visitors return here again and again. Worth a visit!

Great hotel
Stayed 5 nights half board. Excellent choice of food and very tasty, plenty of tables in restaurant. Lovely gardens with quiet shaded seating areas as well as sunny seating around the pool. Free mini golf, and great access to the beach. Room decor very nice. Good air conditioning in rooms.

We had an excellent 7 night stay at this hotel and will look forward to another even longer stay. Everyone concerned were friendly and willing to help with any problems. The restaurant catered for every taste and rooms were very clean and comfortable. We had requested sea view with balcony and this was what we got. Thank you

The hotel is a little dated, but having said that, it was comfortable, spotlessly clean and located right by the beach. We were passing through the area and only stayed for one night. We would certainly stay there again if we were in the proximity.

The front desk staff were unfriendly. Room was nice, quite big, with a lovely view and excellent bed. Breakfast excellent. If I wasn't so put off by the man who checked us in, I would recommend it
