Great location, super close to Downtown OchiPosted Aug 26, 2014
When I arrived I was greeted by friendly smiling faces, and the front desk attendant was amazing and informative. The room was clean and safe. There was a full kitchen with a fridge. Flat screen TVs in the living room and bed room. The beach was just a short walk away. My room was a ocean view suite. I will stay again.

The hotel was close to everythingPosted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: The staff was very accommodating and helpful.
Cons: They were always short on towels or rarely change them
Location: Location was ideal (i.e. close to beach, dining and shopping).
For the money spent on the room I expected more value.

A little frayed around the edges but still kickingPosted Mar 5, 2014 on Hotels.com
We really enjoyed this 'apartment' for our stay in Ocho Rios. The staff and security were friendly, the location was, while not central, very conveniently located, the pool was clean and the grounds were nicely maintained. The on-premise restaurant/bar served good, reasonably-priced food in an outdoor environment, the wait and bar staff were very friendly and there was free (secured) WiFi.

A truly pleasant stayPosted Feb 27, 2014
Pros: The comfort of the room and its location.
Cons: not much.
I had been to Ocho Rios several times but never to this hotel and what a pleasant discovery it was. The staff is extremely friendly, the location is excellent, within walking distance of every thing, the room was comfortable, the location safe, and the price was truly reasonable. I will recommend this place to friends, if I may well return there myself in the future.

This hotel has potential but it is badly in need of a real upgrade. no internet in rooms, no food on compound, no entertainment on compound, swimming pool unkept, smelly rooms, limited bath room ammenities, (not enough towels, toilet paper, wash rags worse case sinerio of a third world country hotel). They should close the facility down and have a total rennovation. The location is ideal being on the beach however it appears as if they are not allowed to access the beach as there were places set aside on the beach for other hotels (jamaica Grand etc. and no place for visitors of this hotel. I felt like an intruder when I tried to use the beach. Its a shame that this hotel is occupying prime location in Ocho Rios. It should be totally revamped taken over by new management who are trained and know how to operate a decent facility. On a scale of 1-10 this hotel score a Zero. They should pay me to stay at this hotel. My money should be returned. This ruined my trip to Jamaica. Had I known the conditions prior to booking I would never have booked this hotel.

Very disappointingPosted Jan 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
This hotel was not cheap!! However the facilities were below par. There was no telephone in the room so no way to get a hold of the front desk without walking over and if it was late at night, very inconvenient. The appliances were old and some did not work. The bathroom was outdated and at times did not work well. I would never return to this place and would not recommend it to anyone.

needs upgrade.Posted Dec 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel rooms in need of upgrade, no towels or wash cloth in bath room, most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in. They didn't even have my reservation, no computer at front desk. Take my advice, pay extra $10/$20 and go somewhere else.

Efficiency unit close to the beachPosted Dec 21, 2013
Pros: The hotel is well located, close to beach and within walking distance to the centre of town, shopping, restaurants, entertainment, etc.
Cons: It would be ideal if the units could be equipped with telephones and Wi Fi. There should be a check list to ensure that all equipment is working.
Location: Ideally located near the centre of town, shopping (supermarkets - there are kitchen facilities in case you want to do your own cooking), also the beac
The overall experience was fairly pleasant, however there were a number of shortcomings which reflected a certain lack of professionalism in the way operations were carried out. On our confirmed booking we were promised a queen sized bed. What was supplied was smaller than a double. The explanation that the owner (the units are individually owned) was a tiny five foot tall woman who probably thought the bed was big enough, might bring a slight chuckle but is not very funny to a client paying top dollar. During our stay there was apparently a problem with the general laundry. The result was that for two days our towels were not changed and for about six hours we had no towels at all. The TV remote did not work on arrival. After two days it was replaced by one that did. All the time the staff were very understanding, courteous, and offered any explanation or excuse they could. It just seemed that the real decision makers / problem solvers were unavailable.
