Absolutely loved it. Will stay here again!Posted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: Staff, entertainment, pool, activities.
Cons: The beaches aren't the best, but that has more to do with location. No complaints elsewhere.
Location: Nothing really in the general vicinity of the resort. Multiple tour companies located in the hotel, however, to book excursions.
I just got back from a 4 day stay at The Grand Paladium. I absolutely loved this resort. I would come back just for the staff. They made my mother and I feel at home. You could tell they work really hard, very long hours, but somehow manage to still keep smiles on their faces, especially the entertainment crew (Reggae G, Talawah, Sunny, etc). The buffets and restaurants were good, the bartenders were generous making drinks and also providing entertainment. The rooms were clean and spacious. Nice balconies and water pressure. There are a host of activities to do every day throughout the massively large resort. I didn't have any problems with the size, as I enjoy walking. (Volleyball, soccer, tennis, drinking games, ping pong, bingo, water sports, etc.) The pool is probably the best one I have ever seen. We even got to do water aerobics. The hotel has multiple tour companies inside the hotel which make it really easy to book excursion trips. The beaches aren't the best or amazing, but they are still nice, and Negril is only a quick trip away. Also, no difference between the Lady Hamilton and Jamaica sides, you have full access to the entire resort regardless of where you stay and there are shuttles if you don't like/can't walk.

Pros: Location, pool, staff, beverages, the jerk and massage.
Cons: Food and update some services and allow staff to service immediately without red tape. I was always told that someone else had to be notified.
The stay was pleasant but not 5 star. Staff was wonderful yet there was a underline discourse between actual service staff and management. It took 2 days and many phone calls before stocking room fridge. Not enough room towels a light fixture on wall detached, room phone was dated (old). Most disappointing was the food, (exception of the Jerk). Limited native foods were offered and that which was served was found lacking.

Great EscapePosted Dec 8, 2014
Pros: The setting, amenities, food (especially at the Poseidon Seafood Restaurant)
Cons: The shows were a little amateurish although the acrobats from Cuba were excellent.
Location: We did not leave the property but there are opportunities to take guided tours to several attractions such as Dunn Hill Falls and Ricks Cafe
Nice resort in a beautiful location. Staff was friendly and the overall experience was like a cruise on land. The all inclusive aspect was great. The pool is enormous and the beach is in a lagoon with excellent snorkeling.

Stay freshPosted Dec 6, 2014
The room I stayed in was not pleasantly kept up to date. Floors and furniture's were nicly clean, but my god from the time you open the front door it's noting but moldy air ur getting . And to make it worst The AC Unit seems like it was very clean for months when the rooms are unaccupied. So the rooms are moldy day and night

Excellent hotel, Nice environment, Expensive WI-FIPosted Dec 6, 2014
Pros: Covered walkways. Large, comfortable rooms.
Cons: We waited 90+ minutes for check-in. In front of us were only 7 people checking into 3 rooms.
Location: There are sharp underwater rocks on beaches. One of three is acceptable. It was not overcrowded in pre-season.
We came to swim in warm water of Mexican golf. Good: beaches had a lot of shade to sit under. Bad: there are sharp underwater rocks, so be careful the first time. Free WI-FI is available in two lobby-areas. $20/day to get it in the room or restaurants, for 2 week stay – it costs as airline ticket!

Pros: rooms are large
great entertainment good food, No reservations for restaurants needed but the line ups are too long. If some restaurants are always busy the need for expansion or reservations may be appropriate

Great place to unwind!Posted Dec 3, 2014
Pros: Pools, food buffets, workout gym and auditorium.
Location: As stated above, everything that you need at an all-inclusive resort.
This all inclusive resort was located about 45 minutes from Montego Bay airport. Pre-paid bus transportation from the airport to resort was air conditioned comfort. Resort was massive and spread out with many pools, dining areas and beach access. Food buffets are the way to go and nightly entertainment was excellent. Quiet modern rooms were large and spacious with TV and a jetted tub. Walking distance to beach, workout gym, spa, pools and of course the ocean. A great place to stay for families too.

Anniversary Vacation.Posted Dec 1, 2014
Pros: STAFF ATTITUDE, SMILES..... WELL THOUGHT OUT... EFFORT
Cons: ALTHOUGH NECESSARY TO KEEP UP THE RESORT AND THEY DID A GOOD JOB CONCEALING THE CONSTRUCTION / RENOVATIONS AT TIMES GETS NOISY....
Location: THIS IS THE 4TH TIME I HAVE GONE TO THIS HOTEL. I RARELY LEAVE IT WHEN I AM THERE. SAW RAINFOREST, WENT HORSEBACK RIDING ... DID THE DOLPHIN RIDE..
The complete staff is fabulous and extremely friendly. Being from NYC we are used to the best of everything, restaurants, shows entertainment lodging etc..... This is not NYC, it is Jamaica. The management and staff do a great job in providing an all inclusive, clean....various types of restaurants .... entertainment ...The shows were well done and you can tell a lot of time and effort was put in them. The "infinity bar also had fabulous reggae bands...and service and a late night disco bar for those who are into that..... Food is available just about 24/7. The grounds are well done and kept up.... They really try their best to give a great tropical vacation. The bar tenders are second to none. The meal presentation was above average... and ethnic dishes were excellent. The staff does a great time with day time activities ....for those who want that...or great place just to relax and swim at t5he beaches or several magnificent pools.... I highly recommend this place....

Awesome resort with great beach and amenitiesPosted Nov 25, 2014
So we just got back from our 6 days at the Grand Palladium Jamaica resort(we stayed at the Jamaica side). First off this resort is large but I've been to similar resorts in the past and this was not a problem with any of us as we like to walk and it was fun exploring the vast property. We found that the rooms were very clean and had all the amenities, when we checked in our room safe had a little issue with setup and we called the front desk and they sent someone over right away and they were able to fix the issue. We loved the massive pool and the swimup bar, we also had a great time at the sunset cove beach(it's by the lady Hamilton side but is by far the best beach and they also have free water sports). We enjoyed free paddle board, paddle boat and kayaks and best of all its all included. They also have great activities by the pool and beach(water aerobics) and we did that when we were there. The food here was great as well and we enjoyed the Orential and Indian restaurants along with the buffets. The coffee bar had some great coffee selections and was open late till 2:00 am. The alcoholic beverage selections were decent as well. The only complain we had is that the staff here can be a little inattentive at times and if you eat at one of restaurants make sure to wait for a while. Other than that we had a great time at this resort and would definitely recommend this property.

The resort was a long drive from most attractions. Very pretty views, but the restaurants were hard to get in to even impossible !
