Small resort , everything is close by

The beach area is very tight. The washroom door's lock was defective, we contacted the maintenance department. We were told that the lock needs to be changed . No one came back to change it although we have contacted them several time. The balcony door was not working , the Maintainance man said he was not able to fix it !!!!!!! If you like clear ocean water, this is not the right place for you. The ocean water is cloudy.

Nice hotel

Pros: I loved the daily activities and dining options on the property .
Cons: The air conditioning could be improved.
Location: The location was nice. It was close the beach.
I had a great experience at the Hilton Rose Hall. There were plenty of daily and nightly activities on the property. The dining options and food variety were great. The French Toast (breakfast) was great. Also the hotel is kid friendly.

Our favorite vacation

Pros: The staff was great, the pool & beach were so much fun, there were always so many activities and all of the food options were great.
Cons: The beach was nice, but this hotel could do so much more with what they have and there private beach. That would be nice to see updated.
Location: The hotel was very close to Montigo Bay which we took advantage of a few times, that was very convenient
My wife and I loved our stay at the Hilton Rose Hall. We went for 6 days, 5 nights in late June-2015 for our anniversary & are already planning a return trip with our kids in the future. There was so much for us to do as a couple and there appeared to be so much for kids as well at this resort which is why we cannot wait to go back with our kids. As stated by the title, our favorite vacation to-date!!!

Lovely hotel, beach, pool and waterpark

Location: The hotel advertise snorkeling and other non-motorized sports - not happening at that beach. Did book and pay to go on a great snorkeling trip.
Got in a day late due to US Air cancelling our flight. When we checked there was an issue with the reservation. Finally got a room with was occupied. Then all they had was a King room (had reserved 2 Queens), Stayed in the king room that night, packed up all our stuff, vacated room in the morning and they got us into another room about 4pm. The third room was a suite and very large and comfortable. However, a lot of hassle for what I was hoping was relaxing vacation. Employees all unfailingly polite and helpful. The Italian restaurant was fabulous. All the food was good.

Beach not what we were expecting

The hotel is nice, the food is good, the lazy river is excellent, and the staff is very friendly and eager to make guests comfortable and happy. Our problem was that we had to deal with very windy days the week that we were there, which made the waters choppy and prohibited any snorkeling. We were able to go out on a catamaran ride with a staff member at the helm on half of the days. On the other days the wind kicked up so hard that it even made swimming in the beach unpleasant because it turned up so much sand and sea weed in the water. On one day, which may have been a calm day in Montego Bay, we went on an excursion to Ocho Rios to Dunn's River Falls (which was wonderful) and the beach there was perfect. If we ever go back I would look for a resort in that area.

Beautiful sight seeing beach view.

Amazing from the time I walked in. Me and my newly wed husband arrive & received great customer service. Room was spacious, clean, the bathroom has a great mirror. All the food was great. Drinks were non stop. The pool areas were clean, tidy and friendly.

family vacation

Pros: different food themes every night ...
Location: Mystic Mountant ..... Dun's River ....
Nice resort ... the pool is a bit small... but younger kids had fun at the kids' pool and water slides .... Room services is not in the all inclusive . :( Our friend lost their Rolex ... in their room ... .. over all this is a nice resort and a nice place for a relax vacations .... most of the restaurant requires reservation ,..... the buffet restaurant have different themes everyday ... which is nice ...but breakfast and lunch menus are the same everyday though ...

great position, good value

Cons: better control of dress code update the rooms
Location: perfect location, close to the airport
overall, the hotel was great, good facilities, above average buffet, never felt crowded although the hotel was fully booked. couple of complaints, the hotel lays down a dress code for 3 of its restaurants which the majority of people follow, however some don't and it really takes the edge off the evening, if they insist on a dress code, they need to enforce it. The property is beginning to show its age, however management ensured us a refurbishment programme is planned.
