Pros: Cleaniness and good drinks
Cons: Activities inside such as wine tasting, dance lessons, etc.. At the bar, have mixture of music 60's or Latin

Beautiful 5-star hotel, amazing staff!Posted Mar 23, 2015
My husband and I stayed for 5 days to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We were pampered and treated like royalty from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Our butler prepared a bubble bath and a bottle of champagne the night of our anniversary. The housekeepers were attentive and kept the room spotless. The food was amazing and the wait staff were incredibly friendly. We will definitely be back!

Nice hotel with comfortable rooms and bathrooms.Posted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: Big comfortable rooms and bathrooms
Cons: Food, and some of the services.
The fact that it is a hotel with butler service is really not true. We never saw the face of a butler. I complained the 5th day of our stay and then the butler knocked on the door the next day in the morning at 9 a.m. and that was it...This was our second tim in this hotel and I have to say that last year the service was better. There was a bathrobe on my side with no tie. there was no scale which was present in some of our friend's rooms. We had to ask for towel slippers to get them. We had to keep asking for water.

Good - but not greatPosted Mar 15, 2015
Pros: The dinners in the a la carte restaurants.
Cons: The butler service - pretty much non-existent. no follow up.
Location: Not much
We enjoyed our recent stay. Dinners in the a la cart restaurants were very good but lunch and breakfast buffets were just average. Minimal and not best quality of fruit selection at breakfast and limited to poor salad selections at lunch. The resort overall needs to be updated. Stayed at same resort in Dominican - which we found to be much more updated and overall pleasant surroundings.

Best All Inclusive!!Posted Mar 13, 2015
I would suggest you try this hotel. We had a great stay with them. The whole experience was designed to please the guests. Anything we asked for was available and delivered to our room; everyone went out of the way to make our vacation nice. I especially enjoyed talking with the Star Friends at this hotel, from the leader Bruce Lee- "minus the Bruce" to "Thunda", Peter, Pinky, Bubbles, Mama Bubbles, Shorty Cakes. Randy and Darwin the Butlers, Chef Jason, Camrae, Kumar and the rest of the crew!

Almost excellentPosted Mar 12, 2015
Pros: The staff and the layout. Even though it is a large property getting anywhere was easy.
Cons: The A/C system. Rooms had to be kept cold to prevent having a damp, clammy feeling. The halls entering from the pool/beach area had a musty smell.
Location: About 25 minutes from the airport. Hotel offered excursions to all tourist points and near by shopping centers. Also to Rose Hall historic district.
Here the first week in March. Had an all inclusive oceanfront suite with Butler service. Property well maintained, staff friendly and accommodating. Hotel offered many activities to join in or just lay by the beach/pool. Buffet restaurants had a large array of food offerings. Never waited in line, always seated right away even though hotel was full. 5 ala carte restaurants which require reservations and have a dress code.

Awesome vacation!Posted Mar 10, 2015
We enjoyed the Grand - the food was delicious, the bars were great! They even had top shelf liquor at the pool bar which was beautiful overlooking the Caribbean Sea!

Great resort but they need more beach chairs!Posted Mar 8, 2015
Pros: Room. Restaurants
Cons: Chairs (see above).
Location: Great beach. Stayed at resort, as have done the Jamaica "sights" before.
This is one of those resorts where folks get up at 5 am to reserve chairs by the pool or beach if they want a chair. BUT this resort gives unlimited towels, so those folks who get up at 5 am reserve a chair by the beach and by the pool and under the awnings. So most of the time there are 10 - 20% of the chairs by the beach or pool occupied and ALL are "reserved." This leads to squabbles because folks move the towels (and books, etc) off the chairs when people are just getting lunch or going to the bathroom. This resort really needs to institute a system I saw elsewhere where the staff come around and put tokens on the chairs, and if the tokens are still there an hour later, the staff remove the towels and materials to the towel station. OR they have to increase the number of chairs by 200%. Other than that, the room was great, the restaurants were great, the buffet was so-so. Staff were very friendly for the most part.

Best trip Ever!!!!!!!!Posted Feb 28, 2015
I decided to take my boyfriend on a birthday getaway for a week the moment we arrived in front of the hotel we were greeted by Eion the bell boy and he was very friendly and willing to help us step by step we went to the check in desk and was greeted by welcoming smiles from bartnett and we let the desk know that it's his birthday and he upgraded us to a wonderful room with a private pool and walked us over to the bar for welcome and birthday shots. The room was beautiful and fully stocked with a nice patio looking at the pool. We then walked around the resort and met so many wonderful people who made the trip worth it. The view of beach was lovely and the restaurants was great. The bartender daveon , dwayne and mark was very cool and made the best drinks they even recommended some which became our favorite . We also met Kiki she's wonderful to be around and has a great positive energy about her that was wonderful . From staying at the Grand we were able to go into the suite hotel disco and enjoy a wonderful birthday night with many dances and drinks.. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone for all occasions it's relaxing ,fun, and the beat experience by far I can't wait to go back and there's not enough words to describe the fun
