Great all inclusivePosted Mar 23, 2015
We enjoyed Iberostar Rose Hall Suites on spring break with out two teenage children. Had lovely beach front rooms next to each other. Although the hotel did not have one room with two beds as promised. However the room did have a pull out couch which was ok but not perfect for the kids. The food was very good and we especially enjoyed the restaurant right on the beach and the on the beach buffets they set up twice during the week we were there. We like to be active on vacation. The additional activities were amazing. These can be arranged through the dive huts at two locations on the beach. We loved the luminous lagoon trip (truly out of this world) and the mangrove safari kayak and snorkel trip. The staff on these trips were excellent as well. We also met so many really friendly guests during our stay. All around bug fun.

Nice grounds and very friendly staff.Posted Mar 10, 2015
The staff was extremely friendly and always helpful. For a family resort if was very nice. The staff was always friendly and motivating you to join activities around the pool. Food was good and choices we're adequate for the resort. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. Great FAMILY resort.

Iberostar SuitesPosted Mar 10, 2015
This is a nice hotel and we had a very nice time. Most of the staff seems to be trying hard to please. My main concern was that it often felt like they were understaffed, so there was always a line for making dinner reservations (which are required!) and food was was not replenished when ran out at the buffet. We chose the hotel because it looked like there was a nice water park for the little kids to play at. It is indeed nice, but it is located in a very shaded corner, so most of the day it was too cold to be there. The kids club on the other hand was a lot of fun for our 2 yrs old. The beach is nice and pretty, yet the sand is not that soft, and contains quite a few small rocks (was annoying during the beach dance part). Snorkeling off the beach is "meh" -- there are some fish swimming by a pile of rocks. It's not a reef. You can go on excursions with a boat, which I'm are are better. The swimming pool was really fun. The swim-up bar is good service, but is also shaded so it can be a bit cold to sit and wait for your drink. Food was mostly very yummy. Overall we enjoyed it, and perhaps wouldn't mind some of the little glitches if it was not that expensive (e.g. compared to our vacation in the Dominican Republic last year).

Nice beach area, rooms close to everything.Posted Mar 7, 2015
Pros: Staff, rooms, balcony, beach
Cons: Buffet area needs brighter colors with more sunlight.
Location: Went to hip strip with a hotel taxi. It was okay, probably not worth the trip there. Ate at the Pork Pit to get authentic jerk chicken.
First time at an Iberostar. Pool was nice but a little crowded. Beach area has shade huts and never had a problem finding a chair. Food at steakhouse was the BEST. Also served lunch with access to the beach. Buffets were okay. Could get all four of our dinner reservations with no problems at the times we wanted. Stayed at a Sandals in Jamaica prior to this which the food is better, but at twice the cost. This is a great selection for the price. Hotel could use a little brighter décor. Stayed in the Suites and buffet area was dark. Rooms have roomy patio balcony. Only problem we had was the safe wouldn't lock due to a low battery. Called first night and they came to fix it within the hour. Staff was very friendly. Would stay here again. The Grand is adults only which we typically like but the beach area in front of the Grand was much smaller.

Nice place but...Posted Feb 25, 2015
Pros: Close to the beach and airport.
Cons: Once you confirm a room stick with the confirmation.
Location: Not much near by 2 excursions we took were over an hour away. Crazy bad roads and drivers had an amazing task of getting to destination safely.
Food was good, staff was freindly. However I had been down graded in room. My confirmation was for a king size bed, and needed that for a reason. I'm not a small person and to get moved into a room with 2 full size beds was disappointing! Not sure how you can confirm a king size bed and upon arrival be told the all inclusive resort is over booked and there is not a king room availible. Anyhow, the vacation was still nice.
