Just came back from our honeymoon it was gorgeous the pool was amazing so huge the staff was so friendly food was good not a whole lot of places open for breakfast and lunch but a good majority for dinner. Dinner is first come first serve at restaurants but the most we waited was 5 mins. The only thing bad I would say is that the pillow cases had a smell like the were air dried smelled like kind of dirty water. And the towels at the pool gave out very fast so we would have to wait a few times. But overall had a great experience and would deff go there again.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Jewel Paradise Cove. Check-in took about 20 minutes, mostly due to the fact that their key coder was being rebooted. We were offered their drink of the day and a cool towel when we arrived, so the wait didn't bother us much. We booked the standard Garden View room with a king size bed and ended up in the 600 building, overlooking the quieter Aquamarina pool and had a partial view of the ocean as well, which was an awesome surprise! The two arm chairs in our room were a little dated and worn, but everything else appeared clean. There is not a luggage rack, but there is an elevated shelf in the closet to put your suitcase on. It took us a few tries to figure out how to keep water from running from the surround of the tub onto the floor, but a rolled up bath towel did the trick. There's no on-site laundry facilities, so everything is taken to Jewel Runaway Bay for washing. We were without hand towels or washcloths for a day because of this, so we learned to hold on to our towels - even the pool towels so we were sure to have one every day. The food was good, but nothing to rave about. The staff was always friendly, especially our favorite bartenders Dwaine & Yonique. We never had a problem getting a chair at the pool, no matter how early or late we showed up.

"Great vacation with young kids"
The hospitality was awesome from all the staff. Chef Adrian made some special selections that we requested and did not disappoint. The nanny service is the reason we came and the reason we will be back! The resort itself can use some overall upgrades. Doesn't seem like any upgrades have been made to accommodate 21st century living. Thank god for the shared beach, because FDR's beach is tiny and not conducive to a day at the beach setting. Resort is smaller than I thought so very glad I visited during off-peak (May-Oct). The owner is very pleasant and is there every single day. If you are going to do any excursions make sure to get the transfer price ahead of time.

"Great staff. Beautiful location "
We just returned from our trip yesterday and had an amazing time at jewel. We stayed in room 1017 with the plunge pool. It was worth the $100 a night upgrade I negotiated at the front desk. My two teenagers used the plunge pool each day and well as we took the baby in it daily. Also the shower had 6 shower heads and was very spacious. The room itself is basic but was fine. The food at all the restaurants had hit and misses like most places you go. We enjoyed the buffet and the jade Samaria the most. The water park was a lot of fun and we used it daily. All the outside kids was a bit much but we just had a positive attitude about it and jumped in the lazy river with them all. I recommend jewel and would definitely go back.

Beautiful resort. They have the nicest staff and the food is excellant, my favorite is the Mexican restaurant. Rooms are great and they keep the mini bar stocked! Beach is beautiful and they have tons of activities. The pool with the swim up bar is my favorite. I will definitely go back to this resort!

"Excellent resort to relax for a few days. "
Check in, to check out was flawless. Everyone was attentive and courteous. The breakfast buffet was beyond belief with the variety of foods to choose from, and there were 4 cooks at the grill to make your eggs and omelets to order. Wait staff was perfect, and not a bad lunch or evening meal did we experience (and we checked out all except the Mexican restaurant, as we ran out of time on our trip). The public restrooms were spotless, and it seemed there was always someone 'on duty' to ensure that they were.

"Very Nice"
I have been Jamaica before, but my daughter had not - we truly enjoyed ourselves. The staff was outstanding and the cleaniness of the place of great - I was so what disappointed about the beach (instead of soft & sandy - it was rather rocky. Otherwise I would recommend this hotel and it's service to EVERYONE.

"BEST RESORT EVER!"
We arrived at the resort with a welcoming staff. The activities listed were great and there was a lot of things to do at the resort. The only thing drawback was that the resort was closing for a month and we were not notified of this after 2 days of staying. This process led us being shipped to Tower Isle, which led to being shipped to Swept Away, which neither one compared to this resort. The staff however bent over backwards to accommodate us on this incident. Just would have liked to be told sooner so that the proper arraignments could have been made.

Montego Bay Resort & Spa Travel Guide

This cozy little Jamaican beach town is everything you could want from a tropical vacation. Whether you have plans to dive under the shimmering blue waters or to simply park yourself in a cabana with a fruity cocktail, Montego Bay is both casual and romantic. Bring your family or sneak away for a romantic couples getaway at some of the most luxurious beach resorts in the world.

Start your getaway with cheap flights to Montego Bay from Expedia.com, and use that extra money for one of the island's all-inclusive resorts. Your rooms will open up to the expanse of ocean, so you can sip your coffee to the sound of the waves before taking a short walk to the resort's private beaches. With staff that will remember your name and recreational activities to keep the entire clan occupied, you'll enjoy every minute of your stress-free vacation.

You'll Have No Complaints About the Weather

Jamaica's weather elicits almost no complaints from residents or visitors. Year-round weather is typically in the high 80s, meaning any time of year is a good time to visit. However, the ideal travel season tends to hit from October to mid-December, so keep an eye out for Expedia.com deals. The humidity is lower, and the weather isn't quite as hot as it is during the middle of summer. Flights and hotels will be cheaper as the all-inclusive resorts Montego Bay are looking to fill their rooms up. The busiest season is January to March, when most cold weather residents are ready to escape the winter doldrums.

    Things to See

Prying yourself away from the best resorts in Montego Bay, Jamaica, could prove to be difficult if you weren't in such a magical place. If you have the kids with you, take them to the jungle for a river tubing adventure. You'll start in the most serene part of the river before your guide moves on to the river rapids for a heart-pounding experience the entire family will love. The Aquasol Theme Park is one of the most popular family spots in the area. Your kids can enjoy tennis, go-karts, and Jet Ski rentals right on the beach.

Learn a little bit about the history of Jamaica at Croydon Plantation. This active plantation was the birthplace of Samuel Sharpe, who fought against slavery, and it's been awarded the honor of the National Champion Plantation Trophy multiple times. As you meander the lush groves, you can sample fresh pineapples, juicy citrus, and sweet sugarcane. When the tour culminates, you'll be treated to authentic Jamaican barbecue.

    Luxurious Resort Amenities

Montego Bay resorts are oases in the middle of paradise. Many of the area resorts have accommodations with views of the ocean, the lush resort gardens, or their sparkling swimming pools. Resorts know that their guests are there for the ocean, so most of them offer sports equipment rentals. If you want to go snorkeling, water skiing, or paddle boarding, they provide the equipment and any necessary lessons for you to safely enjoy them. If it's more your style to sit by the pool, there are various pools scattered through the grounds of your Montego Bay luxury resort. Relax in a cabana with a frosty beer or order another round of cocktails from a swim-up bar. Scrub the saltwater from your skin with an indulgent body treatment or massage at your resort's on-site spa.

Montego Bay's Lay of the Land

Along the coast, Montego Bay is a tropical dream with white sand beaches, clusters of palm trees, and the rippling ocean. As you venture away from the coast, however, you'll start to see rolling meadows and windswept mountainsides. The Catadupa Mountains provide the region with the rain needed for area agriculture and a cool respite from the heat of the coast. If you like tumbling waterfalls, peel yourself away from the beach and check out Dunn River Falls. Fresh water pours down slick rock terraces before emptying into the Caribbean. Each level of the terrace offers pools of water for you to cool off as you look out over the rainforest.

Visit Expedia.com today to find worthwhile deals on luxury hotels in Montego Bay. Throw your favorite swimsuit and sunscreen in your bag and head to the airport for the trip of a lifetime.
