“Ritz Carlton in Name Only”
Beautiful property and great service, but my room was shabby at best and even an ocean view upgrade can't hide roached and a dead crab. Food was great but VERY expensive. Hotel furnishing worn and in desperate need of a refurbishment. Beah area pretty but too rouch to let kids play in water without constant eagle-eye supervision and worry. If you are looking for a Ritz experience you won;t get it, if you are looking for a good hotel with a great staff, this may fit your bill.
“really nice but watch your cell phones”
food was excellent ! service in food outlets was very good ! maid service in rooms was very slow! golf coures THE WHITE WITCH is fantastic.Chef Matthew is the best look him up.
“Very Impressed with the Ritz”
We really enjoyed our stay at the Ritz Carlton Rose Hall Jamaica. The staff was great and very attentive. The only minor complaint I had was the ocean front at the hotel had a lot of seaweed and I didn't want to go in. So we just walked along the water's edge. The breakfast buffet was great with a lot of variety. The only other complaint about my visit to Jamaica was the cab fare to go anywhere, it was ridiculous. They charged $35 US for the ride from the airport to the hotel which is a ten minute ride. I pay US$25 for a ride to my house from the airport in the USA and that's a 25 minute ride. Apparently there's a shuttle that costs $20 which is more reasonable. I would definitely recommend the Ritz.
“Very Impressed”
My group and I recently were guests at the Ritz Carlton in Jamaica. We were very impressed with the professionalism of the entire staff! Everyone to a last person was eager to assist! We enjoyed dining at Mangoes restaurant and also the Jerk Center. Breakfast at the Horizon was exceptional. The grounds (gardens) were well manicured and maintained. Loved the bedding! The best thing we did was the all-inclusive plan. It worked! We will definitely go back. (A little bit more nightlife would be great also).
“We are already thining about coming back.”
We were very satisfied with everything, from the moment we arrived until we left. This was our "home away from home" for a couple of days. Receptionist was very pleasant and friendly. Bell-man was very courteous and helpful. We were celebrating our anniversary, they surprised us with a bottle of champagne and a card. The room was very cozy and comfortable, not to mention, extremely clean. We most definitely want to come back. Thank you for your kindness, Ricardo and Ximena Discovery Bay, Jamaica
“will go back”
Great place!
“Super!”
Loved the place!
“Hard earned vacation.”
My wife was very excited to stay at this 5 diamond resort. Having stayed in Jamica at all inclusives before we thought this was best choice for my parents and us with kids. The inside hotel staff and greeting staff at door were superb. At the pool and beach bars I found it difficult to get a drink having left the bar several times from being tired of waiting, Never experienced this at my other hotels in Jamaica. Two restaurants to dine at seemed ridiculous since other hotels with less ratings had more. Quality of food great but wore thin by day five. One jacuzzi seemed odd especially since it didn't function. One pool, no swim up bar? Fifty yards/meters of beach with more rocks than all of Cape Cod. Whoever gave diamonds could not of gone into this water. Lacking in activities, possibly because hotel seemed to have very few occupants. We come to Jamica this time of year alot, maybe this is due to the economy. My wife and I love Jamaica and this resort left me feeling down, I truly expected better. We work hard for our earnings and don't mind spending but I will never stay in a Ritz Carlton again. Usually we stay at hotel in Jamaica and take one or two excursions this time each day we went to town or excursions just to have more fun. Frankly it cannot compete with other hotels that are less expensive and offer more on the island.
“Ritz Jamaica”
Enjoyed my stay, the facilities are beautiful, well kept, clean and the staff is super friendly.
“You are getting the Ritz Carlton standard in Jamaica”
Great hotel. Great Staff. Jerk Center all the beach is authentic. This will be the new resort for the yearly family vacation.
