This was a wonderful place within the walls of old town Kotor. The room looked like the inside of a medieval castle (in a good way). The staff was wonderful, breakfast (included) was excellent with a personal chef to make our latte and cheese omelette. It was a challenge to find, nestled in the heart of old town, but the information desk outside the old town was very helpful, directing us to the hotel entrance. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Nice little hotel with great staff! Big rooms. Only drawback is you have to go up 1 floor by stairs before you can get elevator.

Cozy elegance right in the middle of old town.
Small, sweet room for 3. Lots of stairs and you're on your own for your luggage, but other than that, very nice and comfortable. Kind and friendly staff. Best of all: right in the middle of old town.

Great location. Noisy at night
Stayed in an attic apartment. Quaint but good. Needed more furniture including couch and bedside tables. Very noisy with music at night. Great location in the middle of the old town. Breakfasts were slightly disappointing. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were awesome and it was very cool to stay in an old family estate. The only complaints wer had are the mattress is somewhat stiff, there is no real shower (just a mobile faucet without a shower curtain), and you cannot use an iron or steamer due to the old building. These are just minor issues though and overall we oiuld stay again!

Excellent room and breakfast! Popular open air bar/club with DJ right next door. Very enjoyable. You will hear their music until the bar closes although I knew this in advance and it did not bother me. The staff are all very accommodating and customer focused. Highly recommended.

The bed situation in the attic rooms is awful. You basically have to crawl to get into bed in the loft because the ceiling cutout is so low. It lead to so much anxiety getting in and out of bed. And I also hit my back (yes me back, not me head) because I didn’t bend low enough. It was so bad. Would never do it again.

Villa Doumo is a wonderfully unique, small hotel that is centrally located within the old city walls of the extraordinarily-sited Kotor. The staff could not have been more kind and helpful. The surprisingly large rooms have amazing stone walls, which make you feel you're living some time in the past, yet the bath and other amenities are up to date. Breakfast on the terrace was made to order and terrific. A highly recommended stay.

This hotel has so much character, which is symptomatic of being right in the middle of Kotor’s old town and only a very short distance from the main (sea) gate, outside which the tourist information kiosk is located. There are so many bars, cafés and restaurants within a few seconds’ walk. I have no idea how old the building is but it has all the look and feel of a converted medieval castle. Our room was big and comfortable (as was the bed) with great views of the Church of St Tryphon and a small kitchen & fridge. The only minor complaint I would have is that the shower, which is separate from the sink and toilet and has no door for privacy, only has a hand held shower head. It’s not to easy to wash your hair (or anywhere else really) with one hand while having to hold the shower head with the other. Surely a hook could easily be fixed on to the wall. We even had a private sauna in the room but I can’t imagine spending €30 per day, just to get probably no more than 30 mins usage. Breakfast, served outdoor on the patio (unless it’s raining), has a range of options and each we tried set us up for the full day. A special mention must go to the staff, who were incredibly nice and efficient. Vladana and Milica share all the reception and breakfast service duties (alternating 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm shifts) but are never seen without a smile on their faces and Bojana seems to combine the breakfast cooking and maid roles. They are all such lovely people.

A little gem! Beautiful small hotel with friendly service. I could not possible have anything to complain about for this hotel. Our room was beautiful and quiet with everything we could need. Breakfast was made to order and served on the terrace. Sanja was so helpful and made some great suggestions for dinners. You won’t be disappointed if you pick this hotel!

We had a good sized suite with modern fittings and air con that worked well, plus a small kitchenette! Only downside was that there was no shower, but a large whirlpool bath instead. A great boutique hotel though, with very helpful staff and lovely breakfast. It also has an amazing situation right in the heart of Kotor next to the cathderal, which made it perfect for accessing all the restaurants and bars in town.

Excellant Hotel in Kotor
Hotel Villa Duomo was absolutely fantastic! I'm not a person who gives many reviews but this hotel stands out as a shining star! Everyone was very friendly and helpful...the breakfast personnel were eager to provide everything and anything to make our start to the day perfect. The cleaning staff were almost too prompt but helpful. The front desk star was Sonja who went beyond anything imaginable trying to book a taxi for us in Kotor but also in Dubrovnik where she was aware that taxi's in Croatia are expensive. The day trip she booked for us throughout Croatia was also impressive. Everyone was beyond our wildest dreams. Many thanks to everyone at Hotel Villa Duomo for such a lovely holiday. An amazing boutique hotel in the heart of the old town. Very easy to access on foot from the bus station and main city gate. The staff were some of the most helpful and efficient hotel staff I have ever come across, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were copious, delicious and wonderfully leisurely on the covered veranda. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable with some charming quirky touches. As a group of 6 seasoned travellers, we were all delighted with our stay.

Lovely hotel in center of the Old Town
The Hotel Villa Duomo is right in the middle of the Old Town. It is clean, comfortable and the staff are lovely. The breakfast is one of the best we have had on holiday, there is plenty to choose from and it's a lovely way to start the day. The only downside we found was not the hotel's fault, the bar next door had a very noisy private event one night which didn't finish until 1am but I used my earplugs and it wasn't really a problem. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Location was great. This is a small boutique hotel. We had the attic room. It was spacious but had no shower. Had an open bath tub in another room. Also because it was an attic if you are tall iyou had to watch while walking. Service was good. Breakfast was average.

We had a large double room which was very comfortable, good wifi and air conditioning, and with nice modern finishes - the shower room was one of the best I've seen in an old hotel. The staff were very helpful in arranging day trips for us, and were attentive but gave us privacy. Being in the old town was amazing for feeling close to everything - even on the weekends, it wasn't too loud at night. For the cost, would highly recommend staying here over a local Air Bnb/cheaper hostel or hotel.

Great boutique hotel - a “must return”!
What a fabulous little hotel in beautiful Kotor Old Town. From check-in, throughout our 3-night stay and to check-out, the hotel team could not have been more friendly or helpful. Room #3 was spacious, with everything needed for a comfortable stay, and great air-conditioning - much needed during this summer trip!

Charming hotel right in the heart of Old Kotor
Just one night but loved it and would return. Breakfast was lovely and bed was firm for a great night. Roof top views as we were on the attic.

Nice hotel in the old Kotor town.
Lovely helpful staff, great breakfast. Located next to cathedral and easy traffic-less walk to the wonderful harbour and the fjords of the bay.
