Workaday, non-beach base to explore Bay of KotorPosted Sep 26, 2012
Pros: Immaculately clean, spacious, functional, takes credit cards
Cons: No charm, no view, uninteresting immediate surroundings, pricey
Location: See above
We just wanted a place to use as a base for exploring the Bay of Kotor region, and it worked fine for that. (It's just a few minutes' drive from the ferry across the mouth of the bay and the beginning of the drive around it.) It would probably not work well for travelers without their own car. The apartment was ample but unimaginably furnished; it felt generic and a bit like a business traveler's aparthotel. The kitchen was equipped adequately, but barely so; it could use some additional cooking utensils and pots. It is not a beach hotel; the (rocky) coast is a couple of blocks away; you can catch a tiny glimpse of it from a few of the higher apartments and none at all from most. Parking facilities are good. Overall it served our purposes fine but seemed somewhat overpriced for what you get.

Good value for that pricePosted Aug 20, 2012
Cons: Initial cleaning of the floor was necessary
Location: Developing environment, nice small beaches, good service infrastructure nearby and very helpful local citizens.
Corridors, stairs and the room showed the memories of the previous weeks of usage - sticky floor, chips, dust, lost toys under the armchairs - and a bad odour of sink. But the bedclothes, towels, bathroom, fridge, owen, dishes were clean. Nice view, AC, board games, TV with PS2, well equipped kitchen are in the apartment. Staff is friendly.

Appartment in WohngegendPosted Aug 12, 2011
