“great family location”

Hotel is in an excellent location and the staff was very helpful. Spacious room and bath; The continental breakfast included bagels and a healthy assortment of cereals; much better than another Carmel motel we have used. Carmel Bay View Inn will be our "go to" place when our family visitors exceed our house capacity!

“BEAUTIFUL CARMEL BAY VIEW FROM OUR ROOM”

WE WERE MARRIED 41 YEARS AGO IN THE CHAPEL AT THE HIGHLANDS INN AND STAYED HERE WHEN IT WAS CALLED THE JADE TREE INN. NOW NEWLY REMODELED WE ENJOYED OUR STAY HERE AND SHARED MANY SPECIAL MEMORIES . CARMEL IS TRULY A ROMANTIC AND TREASURED PLACE FOR US AND IS RECOMMENDED HIGHLY.

“Secret gem of Carmel”

This hotel is in the best location. Quaint restaurants and the market is all within walking distance. The hotel layout is great... multilayers for views and every room is close to your car. We loved it!

“Must Love Dogs”

Will never stay anywhere else again,great view, perfect location. Deli right next door. Be sure to get a room with an ocean view, so worth it. So nice to sit on your own private balcony, perfect Valentines weekend.

“Have enjoyed each stay!!”

This is one of my favorite hotels. The rooms are clean and cozy. The updated bathrooms are a plus as most hotels in Carmel are old. I do appreciate the location. Piatti's and The Forge are great places to walk to for dinner. The deli next door is convenient if I want to get a sandwich and stay in. And best of all it is an easy stroll to Ocean Ave.! The breakfast room is pleasant and the selection is satisfying. My only hesitations (and they are pretty lame) the walkways to the rooms are uphill (there is an elevator)....and my husband won't stay because there is no outdoor jacquzzi.

“Would stay here again.”

The room was recently remodeled and was very clean and nicely decorated. The Check-in and Check-out process was very quick - front desk was very friendly and accomodating. The hotel is in a perfect location - being close to restaurants and the village shops. The village has the feeling of an old European village with it's sidewalks and shops tucked in between buildings and courtyards.
