Did an overnight here for a UCSC event that was held in downtown Santa Cruz. Easy drive to Santa Cruz, great location, clean spacious room, very attentive and nice staff, great food at the restaurant and tons of parking. Even got to charge our EV in the parking lot, which worked perfectly. Would definitely stay here again.

The rooms are very nice and most if not all have a private patio or balcony. Pool and hot tub are clean and heated. Lots of parking close to buildings ( $10 parking charge). The restaurant has a large and diverse menu but I would rate the food as fair

I liked the room and ease to shopping and freeway. What I would suggest to people staying if they have problems with stairs they should ask for a 1st floor room since they don’t have any elevators. Also there is a fridge, but no microwave in the room.

Nice rooms, reasonable pricing. The onsite restaurant s pricey but there are plenty of good choices within half a mile, even some within a short walk.

Yes we do have a non-refundable pet fee. Our pet policy with our rates are posted both on Expedia as well as our own websites. This is also disposed at the time of booking reservations. This pet fee goes towards deep cleaning the rooms after your departure.
I love that we had sliding glass doors to access the property. It was perfect for our dogs to be comfortable as well as to access our luggage. I will say that Sevy’s band and dance floor were awesome and I danced until my feet hurt! Our room was clean and our bed was comfortable. We ordered room service breakfast and both our meals were great. I recommend the Classic Eggs Benedict and Breakfast burrito. We’ll definitely be back.

I had to change rooms. There was a guest in the room next to me who screamed and screamed. Finally I called the front desk who said there was only one room available (must have been in that building because the parking lot was 1/2 empty) and I would have to go to the front desk to get the key. It ended up being a nightmare experience. I was told that others complained as well. Instead of resolving the problem, I was forced to re-pack and move to another floor. The walls between rooms are paper-thin. I won’t go back to this establishment anytime soon.

Beard hair and ants free of charge
A previous guests beard hair welcomed me, along with a few ants. Eco water faucet only offered drops of water in sink. For multiple day visits you have to go to desk the night before and ask to have room cleaned for the next day. They have a large parking lot, yet charge guests another 10 bucks a night to park on top of room charge.

Upon arrival, there was a stack of dirty towels outside the room but no cleaning crew in sight. The room was clean but the bathroom showerhead and handles could do with a clean, and there are cobwebs in the bedroom (far left corner). Since this was a garden view room, it was concerning that the patio doors were unlocked. Didn't exactly make me feel safe!
So great if you’re traveling with kids, we had two sets of bunk beds, and our king size bed. Also had a cute little living room area! It was perfect and comfortable for all of us

The reception staff are wonderful. The grounds are beautiful and the restaurant is quite nice. The only suggestions is to raise the temperature of the pool. Quite cold. Within my gripe with my rooms was that I found black hair strands among my hand towels. This is a great property.
This property is great because it is close to the beach. Also, it has a restaurant and bar right at the property. The food is great and the staff is friendly.
While we thought the resort was really refurbished nicely, and in great condition, it was very disappointing that the mattress in our bedroom was upside down, and when we asked the front desk to have it fixed, they forgot to come do it so two nights we had to sleep on the bottom of part of a mattress which was very hard. Not the greatest customer service.
The hotel itself is nice. They've done some recent renovations, room was updated and clean. Bed was very comfortable. The person at the check in was neither welcoming nor rude. Meh...
They charge $10.00 a night to park. Felt like another way to gouge you. No longer clean rooms, have to go to the desk for a 2nd days coffee. Pay more get less.

I like the walkable distance to the beach and shopping and restaurants area. When we arrived, there were no toilet paper or coffee cups in the room. The moisturizer bottle was empty. The room was clean and I was happy with good quality towels and sheets. I guess the hotel was busy. We stayed three nights, but there was no room service. The staff were friendly but not very helpful. Maybe they were short staffed.
