ComfortPosted Apr 24, 2015
Pros: Comfy & clean.
Cons: The entry, stairs, exits & office needs updated.
Location: This Inn was central to all things around Cannery Row..eating, shops, wharf's, beaches, fishing, boats, harbor, historical landmarks, The Aquarium.
From the appearance of entering the Inn I was a bit concerned, the stair carpets were old and the office was old and plain..HOWEVER, our room was very nice, attractively decorated, clean & comfy. The bed was so comfortable!! The worst part was the traffic noise since our room was on the main street..possibly a room on the backside would be better. We would stay again though..we were right in the middle of all our needs met for eating, shopping, the Aquarium, right on the ocean for a nice drive for miles. Very pleased all in all.

Pros: close to cannery row.
We got there around 2pm and was hoping to check in early. We had to wait until 3pm. Heater in our room didn't work properly. Breakfast wasn't all that great. No pool.

Visiting for a dayPosted Apr 16, 2015
Pros: It was centrally located and the price was good. It had some interesting features like a fireplace in the room and vaulted ceiling
Location: We spent time walking around the waterfront. Nice trail and beautiful scenery
We were visiting Monterey for an overnight trip and to see the Monterey peninsula.

Convenient location.Posted Apr 14, 2015
Room was well laid out even though it was small. Fireplace was nice. Could hear neighbors a little too easily. Had to cross a deck and up three rickety steps to get to room which wasn't easy with 2 big suitcases. Staff was extremely nice and accomodating. Let us park there after we checked out which was huge!

Good location, reasonable pricePosted Jan 5, 2014
We spent two nights here and enjoyed the location in Cannery Row and directly adjacent to the pedestrian and bike walk. There was some confusion at check in (front office was trying to use the expedia account number to put a $20 deposit on the room to cover any phone use). The included breakfast was just so-so. However for the price we paid on a busy holiday weekend we would stay again.

Nice clean hotel, excellent staffPosted Dec 28, 2013
Pros: Location and staff.
I was not expecting much from the hotel and was pleasantly surprised. Room was quite spacious with microwave & refrigerator. There was a fireplace which we didn't use. Breakfast was also very good. Best part of stay was excellent reception person - Chanda - who was very helpful and gave us lots of tips on where to go and eat. Overall a very nice experience. I would recommend this hotel to all.

Solid hotel, great locationPosted Dec 26, 2013
This is not a luxury hotel, so you should book it with realistic expectation. With that said, it's definitely a solid choice. Great location between the aquarium and fisherman's wharf. Room is very clean, reasonable size. Free internet and free breakfast are both not bad.

Great LocationPosted Dec 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
The location of this simple motel style accomodation is excellent. Easy walk to Cannery Row and Fishermans wharf. Basic room style, small bathroom but quite adequate for a couple of nights. Breakfast included and free parking a bonus. Well priced for the area
