Pros: easy access to restaurants and state park. a good balance of activity and relaxation in carmel.
there are many nice restaurant within walking distance from the hotel. it is a very short drive to carmel by the sea for a more restaurants and shopping. it is minutes of drive from point lobo state reserve park. we also relaxed at the pool inside the hotel. will recommend to friends and go back.

far away from camel center and little expensive

Posted Jul 6, 2014
For having to leave another booked hotel in 7 night, I have to lookinf for a hotel for my family. almost all the hotel at that time are full, just choosing the first suggesting hotel at exoendia. Really is it a good hotel, beauitful and large room. But it is little far away from the center and the price is to high.

Comfortable and Convenient

This is my second stay at Carmel Mission Inn this year. I found it very convenient and close to points of interest in the area and some very good restaurants nearby. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. I love the toiletries, Gilchrist and Soames! The only drawback is the lack of elevators, so if you tend to pack a heavy suitcase, choose the rooms on ground level.

Clean and Comfortable, but not Convenient

Posted Jun 23, 2014
The hotel was what we were looking for in terms of comfort and condition. We made the mistake of not understanding where the location was. We were visiting Carmel, CA for the first time and did not realize that most of everything you want to see is on one main road near the beach. It was not a long commute to the shopping and beach, about 10 minutes, but being near all the attractions would have made it better. Good hotel though.

Lovely hotel

Easy access to highway 1, Carmel and local shops. Staff was warm and efficient, rooms cute, food good could have more healthy, veggie and gluten free options.

ok hotel, nothing special

Posted Jun 18, 2014
restaurant service was terrible - we waited 30 minutes before anyone brought us a menu, and we had to go and ask for menus. It took even longer to take our order, and then the food was about 30 minutes later and lukewarm by the time they served us. The food was ok - not worth the price

Much better than expected

Great little hotel for the price. Good location if you are going to point lobos with some great restaurants across the street. Breakfast at the hotel is worth the extra cost on check in. Rooms were clean and simple with a modern feel.
