Lovely AmbiancePosted Mar 2, 2015
Pros: Very warm ambiance. Hotel restaurant was good for a late arrival. Several very nice restaurants are within walking distance.
A one night stay that we wish could have been more. Loved the firmness of the bed, renovated bathroom. We had a balcony and while it overlooked mostly the parking lot it was still very nice to open the doors and let some of the wonderful sea breeze in. Walking distance to many nice restaurants. Short drive to the beach, Monterey and Pacific Grove. The staff was very accommodating and quite friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

Great hotel and close to everythingPosted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: The location. it is close to everything and was very nice and clean
Cons: I am not sure if my back was the issue or the bed. I found that i had a hard time getting to sleep on the bed, however; it might be a dream for others
Location: the location is perfect. it is wedged between the Barnyard and Crossroads shopping center. We have plenty of dining and shopping options.
The staff was friendly and was able to upgrade us to a balcony room with an amazing view. We could not have asked for a better spot for a birthday weekend. we were close to both Monterey and Carmel. we were able to walk alot and take a short and inexpensive taxi ride when needed. Loved every minute of our experience and have only the staff and hotel to thank for that.

Overnight stayPosted Feb 23, 2015
Location: Middle of a parking lot, beside the highway and a shopping centre.
Good for a overnight stay, but not much in terms of a view, or a location. Hotel is right beside the highway, and most of the views are of the parking lot, so I would not stay here for several days. However, the staff is very pleasant and accomodating.

Beautifully decorated room overlooking the pool. Buffet breakfast at the hotel was well worth the $12 per person. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative was that the room could have been quieter - I could hear water running thru pipes.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at CMI.Posted Feb 18, 2015
We drove our Tesla to Carmel from Burlingame and it was a delight to stay at Carmel Mission Inn. We brought our small dog and he enjoyed being able to exercise on the dog path behind the Inn. The food was very good as was the manager of the restaurant Deni! She and our waitress Angel gave us helpful hints for day hikes and sites in the area that were dog friendly and convenient. We were able to charge the Tesla at night on a "low" voltage cable, but it worked just fine to give us a few more miles for the trip. All in all, we highly recommend the Inn and we will stay there again! Thanks Carmel Mission Inn for a lovely vacation!

Hotel was updated somewhat but still was pricey,Posted Feb 11, 2015
Pros: Location to area, but thought all was too expensive.
Cons: Musty odor in bathroom was bad. Bathroom remodeling was good, but bathroom was too small.
If you are a tourist with a family, you will want to eat in Monterry area. Carmel is very expensive.

PerfectPosted Feb 3, 2015
Pros: Clean, updated, nice amenities, great view, professional friendly staff...
Location: Carmel...the view from the hotel (the hills), the beach was beautiful, nice restaurants...
I originally only booked for one night. We were so happy with the facility that we stayed a second night. Of course, Carmel is beautiful and that was the second reason to stay a second night. This was a "road trip" and there was no agenda. Stay here a second night? Sure!

Romantic GetawayPosted Jan 27, 2015
Pros: We loved the room, the grounds of the hotel and the pool area. Unfortunately we did not use the spa or the work out facilities so unable to rate them
Location: Very close to town and the beach. We drove to down and walked around the shops, had lunch, took the dog to the beach.
We were looking for a last minute romantic weekend getaway and found Carmel Mission Inn. We had the perfect room with oversized patio/balcony. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking. The location and price are perfect. Plus free wifi, parking and pet friendly were perfect when we reserved our room.

Great Weekend!!Posted Jan 27, 2015
This was our first time to Carmel and we had a great weekend! The hotel staff was friendly and recommended Point Lobo's Reserve for a nice hike along the coastline. Our room was bright and fresh with a lovely balcony to sit and have a glass of wine before heading down to the pool (super warm). We had dinner at their restaurant Fuse and listen to a band. Great Buffet Breakfast in the morning then off to shopping next door at the BarnYard.
