“We'll be back !!”

We came from Boston to Santa Cruz for our son's wedding and spent Thanksgiving week at this hotel, "off season", expecting little more than a comfortable place to sleep. What a surprise!! Right across the street from the beach and the boardwalk, this little gem offers the cleanliness, convenience and amenities that I would expect from a 5-star hotel. The staff was pleasant and accommodating, continental breakfast was provided, the spotless rooms were equipped with cable TV, fridge and microwave, and the beds were among the most comfortable I have ever found in a hotel room. This is definitely the place to stay in Santa Cruz. Thanks for a great experience, Coastview !!

“really nice for the price”

We were very pleased with this hotel. The location was GREAT. our room was newly remodled so everything was pretty new and clean. Our kids were very happy with the cable tv. Would definately not mind staying in this hotel again. The room had a good size fridge also

“Great location but needs major renovations”

Location is ideal but rooms are way too small, beds are rock hard and towels are ridiculously cheap and thin. The bathrooms have been redone, but this place needs new bedding desperately! The beds were hard and lumpy and the sheets were stained. The walls were so thin that I could not sleep as I could hear every footstep the people above me made. Made for an exhausting vacation.

“Adequate”

The location was perfect, right across the street from the boardwalk. That being said, the bed was very hard and we woke up with sore backs. Given the price and location, I would probably stay here again, just bring some padding for the bed.

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and the Wharf are great places to stroll and have fun. I highly recommend a trip to Capitol (about 10 mins. from Santa Cruz). It's a quaint little town with fun shops and beachfront restaurants. It's a very relaxing place where you can't help but feel comfortable.

“Seacrest Hotel”

Great location, smelly rooms, felt dirty & I was itching the whole time I was in the room. Pool area was small and very unkept, moss on floor around it.

“Better than I expected.”

After reading some of the reviews, we were pleased with the hotel. It looks like they painted the inside of the rooms and redid the bathroom. We didn't eat any of the breakfast, there was not much to choice from.

“would go back”

The hotel was nice and clean better than I expected after reading some of the reviews. the staff was friendly and nice the beds were a little hard but the room was clean and comfortable and updated. great location too and its was nice we left for the day and came back to our room being made up and fresh towels in the bathroom. parking is a little tight but it is free at the hotel if you can get it. would go again
