The room is very big and comfort, but the queen beds are very smaller than other hotels.

Clean, reasonable price and good location.

Posted Mar 20, 2015
Pros: Location and cleanliness.
Cons: Earlier breakfast time for early golfers.
The hotel was easy to find. It was on a corner near the Monterrey Airport. Quiet area. Clean room and courteous staff. Good location, Easy access to highway1 and within a few minutes of central Monterrey. Reasonable price for hotel.

Good, relatively inexpensive place near airport

Posted Feb 19, 2015
Pros: It is within easy walking distance of the airport.
Cons: The late night check in window is somewhat uninviting, but really not too big a deal.
I stayed here the night before an early flight out of the Monterey airport, and the hotel met or exceeded all of my expectations. The rooms enter from the outside, and the amenities are relatively basic (but very good for the price). The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The airport is a short walk (5-10 minutes) away.

The only real problem was a terrible Internet connection. We had to go to the lobby to get good wifi. The staff was very apologetic and hopefully they have solved the problem.

An Unexpected Delight

Posted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: We liked everything about it. It is out of the hustle and bustle of downtown Monterey and yet you can get to downtown Monterey or Carmel quickly.
Cons: It was a tiny bit "worn around the edges" which had no impact on our enjoyment. There is a free breakfast, which was average, in a small space.
Location: Very easy to jump on and off HIghway 1 by car. Jack's Peak park is really close-by.
I visit Monterey frequently and am a former resident. On a whim I booked the Comfort Inn Airport, despite having no flight in travel itinerary (we traveled by car). I am so glad I did! My husband I stayed in an upstairs room (room 113 I think) that was huge, with a gas fireplace and balcony with a view out over toward the oak-laden hills. Over the 4 days we stayed, it seemed more like a retreat to us than a mere hotel room. Though Highway 68 is very nearby as is the Monterey Airport itself, we barely were aware of the Highway or the Airport. I had fully expected to hear lots of jet noise but I think we noticed the sound of maybe two jets over our 4 days there.
