I was expecting more since its Days Inn but it wasn't all that bad. The carpets were dirty, and the reason I knew was because after I got out of the shower my feet were still wet and I quickly walked into the main area and then back to the bathroom and black grunge came off my feet and onto the tile. Also, you can see the stains on the lighter colored carpets down the hallway. Other than that, there are new TV's and king size beds so that was nice.

Cheap Hotel

Pros: Nothing. I haven't stayed in a motel like this anywhere in the world.
Cons: Beds. Paint walls, Change dirty carpets.
Location: In the middle of nowhere.
Not good. Wouldn't stay here . This place should be done over. It has not been upgraded for a long time.

Not that great

The rooms aren't that great. The room I stayed in looked like it had patches of paint where wholes used to be. Not to mention the rooms didn't feel clean. The towels weren't the greatest. And not to mention the breakfast was pretty lame. I originally booked two nights but only stayed once. I would not recommend this hotel. Pay a little more and be a lot more comfortable.

It was all about the location

Pros: Location
Cons: Carpets and walls should be cleaned.
Location: Monterey & Santa Cruz were 20-30 minutes drive away. Definitely check out the Lighthouse Cafe and The Whole Enchilada marketplace in Moss Landing.
We spent President's day weekend in Monterey and Santa Cruz so this hotel in Watsonville was a good in between point for 2 nights. The room was a little dingy, dirty carpets, heater smelled nasty and beds were not really comfy. But we were only there at night to sleep and so we were able to overlook this stuff. We had issue with the cable and the internet but each time we called front desk, we received excellent trouble shooting customer service. Breakfast is pretty minimal: cereal, toast , yogurt, etc.

Very old dirty hotels rooms need a lot of updating

Cons: Update, remodel not just mop the floors
Location: 30 minutes from Gilroy outlets
This hotel disappointed me a lot, old rooms with only double beds, old blankets, very thin old towels... Dirty carpets and uncomfortable bedding, dirty walls in rooms. will never stay here again... One more thing: frozen omlets for breakfast if it's not enough. Very old inside although not bad outside.

Dirty and rundown.

We stayed here on 02/13/15. At first sight the place looked OK and the price was fair, When we got to our room the carpet looked dirty and there were some big stains in it. The room smelled like a damp towel that was left out for days. the beds were the worst they were pretty uncomfortable and very, very noisy, they squeaked every time we even moved a little bit. We have stayed at other Days inn hotels before, but this one is by far the worst, we'll NEVER stay here again.
