Perfect location overlooking the bay

Posted Apr 1, 2015
Nice, clean, and safe! Breakfast is excellent! Service is awesome! They upgraded my room with no additional fee! Made an anniversary weekend a great one! The only issue I had was with the needs list on the eco-friendly door form! I marked towels and never received them until I looked for room service.

Great overall value

Great hotel to stay at for families. Very close to beach, large free breakfast buffet, a free happy hour for adults. The staff was wonderful and allowed us to check in a few hours early. A room with a balcony was a worthwhile upgrade for the view.

Hospitality At Its Best!

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: No flaws anywhere! Every member of this hotel was trying to make every guest have the best stay available.
I was a bit surprised at the rates I was quoted as I priced around for our accommodations. Recently retired and now a senior trying to stretch our funds. Remember to ask about extra charges; many add fees like "Resort Fees"; newspapers and parking. This hotel did have a $10 parking fee but parking was close and well laid out. The service was the tops, from the doorman; front desk; to the staff who attended the food court. Our two room unit with a king size bed was exceptionally clean, very spacious and modern. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very quiet. Loved the managers reception which offered complimentary chips; fresh vegetables; dips; and beverages from soda pop, wine, beer or something a bit stronger made from your favorite spirits. The following morning the hotel provided a full hot breakfast offering: scrambled eggs; bacon; sausage; potatoes; biscuit and gravy; oatmeal; cereal; fresh fruit; pastries and an omelet bar with all your choice of ingredients. Of course there was an endless supply of fresh coffee and juice for all. This hotel is well suited for family's; those on business travel; or for that getaway with that special someone. Noted the recreation room with pool tables; a swimming pool; and a quiet business center. I must also disclose that I saw all this not through the average set of eyes, but from the experience of 25 years in hotel management. Congrats to the management and hotel staff for a job well done.

We all thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. The staff was very friendly and courteous. Our room was great and beds comfortable. The breakfast complimentary was excellent. We will definitely be back! We have three kids (4,6,8 yrs) and they loved the indoor pool so much.

Could use some remodeling! Pay for parking!

Posted Mar 9, 2015
Pros: The staff was very friendly, breakfast was good, lots of choices.
Cons: Air quality in the pool needs ventilation or something. Bathroom needs remodel, rusted water marks on the shower walls.
Location: Close to the freeway, local restaurants, Target and Starbucks across the street.
Honestly, they want you to stay there and they charge you to park your car? Where else are you supposed to park? The bathroom needs remodeling, the shower head was horrible and wait to high to change the setting not enough water pressure, end up washing my hair using the water faucet in the tub but my back was hurting after the shower. The blanket in the closet to be used in the sofa bed had holes. The refrigerator that is in the same room as the sofa bed had to be disconnected in the middle of the night because of the loud noise it made, couldn't sleep. The indoor pool was bad!!! We went into that place and only stayed 20 minutes our eyes were burning that we had to leave, that explains why no one was there. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good, lots of choices.

Hotel is enough!

This hotel is amazing! The hotel has enough entertainment all by itself! Wonderful activities inside for all ages! A plus is that it is so close to the beach!
