Ok hotel, great location.Posted Mar 5, 2014
Pros: The hotel is about 5 minutes from from downtown, Cannery Row & the pier. Love the free breakfast & free drinks in the evening. Great for kids.
Cons: More comfy beds, better set up in the bathroom & wipe down the light fixtures & walls periodically. We did that ourselves.
Location: The hotel is about 5 minutes from all of Monterey's hot spots.
The staff at the hotel was great, the service was really good. The room left a lot to be desired. I HATE it when hotels put my bath/face towels over the toilet! That is a big turn off!! One side of the bed was extremely uncomfortable. There were 2 metal prongs that stuck out from the bed that we either hit our legs or ankles on or got our pant legs caught on. My ankle is still swollen!!

Great breakfast!Posted Feb 23, 2014
Pros: The breakfast and location. Tickets for aquarium sold at front desk last for 2 days.
Cons: The website descriptions and room maintenance.
Location: It's a short drive from the aquarium and Cannery Row.
The breakfast is the selling point for Embassy Suites to me. While most features of the hotel were great, the room itself showed signs of it's age and need of maintenance. Specifically speaking the physical locking device for the main door, the bathroom door was unable to close enough to allow the latch to catch, water damage on the floor in the bathroom was apparent. Descriptions of the room could have been more specific when viewing them, as I was under the impression there would be a separate sitting room from the sleeping room when I selected this reservation. Buying tickets at the front desk saved us a long wait to buy tickets at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

Get it only if you really have to!Posted Feb 23, 2014
We got this as a blind deal. We advice you not to do it. We won't do it again. The same room was available at the same price. The hotel is a 2.5, not a 3.5. Not clean, beds are not comfortable at all and the location is among the worst in town. It's a Vegas

Seaside StayPosted Jan 26, 2014
Cons: They charge $10.00 for overnight parking! Really!! This huge parking lot is shared with a Chili's restaurant. Quit charging for parking!!
Embassy Suites Monterey Bay/Seaside is a very nice place to stay. Comfortable, clean, nicely decorated and conveniently located. Would definitely stay there again especially since it is within minutes of the Black Horse & Bayonet golf courses. Will recommend friends to this Hotel.

Good location, good deal.Posted Jan 13, 2014
Pros: Location, View, and Food.
Cons: Time to update the bathrooms and elevators!
We stayed for a brief overnight getaway and wanted to be in the Monterey/Carmel area on a Friday night without spending more than $200/night. The Embassy Suites in Seaside is really an overall great deal for the money, it's in a good location/proximity to both Carmel and Monterey. We were upgraded to a large corner suite upon arrival from our King Bed Ocean View, and it was a beautiful view. While the rooms themselves are showing their age a bit, especially the bathrooms, the overall experience was very nice and enjoyable! Great staff/service, free breakfast and happy hour!
