Fantastic place! I want to go back!Posted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: What we loved best was the beauty of the Inn, the coziness of the room, the complimentary wine and appetizers as well as the succulent breakfast.
Cons: Really, i cannot think of anything.
Location: Well located. Just a few blocks from everything... Great restaurants, shopping, ....
It is nice to find a B&B well managed and displaying the best hospitality. Beautiful Victorian home, well appointed, clean... We will stay there again should we be back in this beautiful area.

Nice original hotel in Pacific Grove.Posted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: Quirky & not a chain hotel. Very good afternoon drinks & breakfast excellent. Good location in centre of town but not noisy as it's very quiet town.
Cons: Nothing really!
Location: Town centre location means you can walk everywhere inc to Monterey attractions. Sea 2 blocks away.
Nice hotel made from a collection of original houses. Our room was quite small but "it all worked". Even had a fireplace which we used as Pacific Grove can be chilly even in July. Good front desk staff.

birthday tripPosted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: The evening happy hour was great and the location is very good too.
Location: Carmel, ocean, Monterey, fun great food.
Room is small and other than vintage furnishings nothing really special. Quite small for the price and the water in the shower was a little hard to regulate in the morning.

Sweet and quaintPosted Jul 8, 2014
The room we stayed in was large and comfortable. It was on the front of the h I use at the top of the stairs which was a bit noisy in the morning. Probably not a great room for light sleepers. Breakfast and wine/ tea hour were simple but nice.

Historic home in great locationPosted Jul 8, 2014
Location: Beach and aquarium
Gosby House inn staff were very nice to work with. We stayed only one night but had a good time. The inn is great for a romantic weekend away and to meet new people. The location is great in a historic building with a great location close to the beach and the aquarium. Parking is nearby and easy to find.

Nice historic B&B close to great amenitiesPosted May 21, 2014
Pros: Location, large comfortable rooms which are nicely furnished
Cons: Window repairs
Location: Cannery Row, Fishermans wharf and the local beach. Excellent restaurants and cafes
We stayed two nights on our way back to San Francisco after a week in Yosemite/Kings Canyon. The hotel is a beautiful old building which for the most part has been very nicely renovated and furnished, The staff were excellent and friendly and the service was exceptional (turndown service with chocolate and a rose) as was the breakfast and afternoon wine/snacks. Our room seemed to have been recently redecorated. The only issues were a lack of bed headboard (very strange) and only two of the windows could be opened. One of those had a broken sash cord so it would not stay open. I understand these old homes need lots of maintenance and in the scale of things these are minor issues in a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

First time at a B&B (maybe the last)Posted May 19, 2014
Cons: it would be nice if they informed the guests that the room booked was being renovated to allow for another room option.
Location: This B&B is in downtown Pacific Grove. Picked B&B location because we had dinner reservations at Passion Fish a block away.
Room pictured on webside not what it was. Disappointed especially since it was Mother's Day weekend. Wasn't told the room was being renovated until I e-mailed them after our stay and asked for an explanation. The afternoon wine/hors d'oeuvres, tea and cake was nice as was the breakfast. Staff was great. But still....

Nice Bed and Breakfast in a quiet areaPosted May 11, 2014
Pros: The location and cleanliness
WE spent our 61st wedding anniversary there and found it to be very comfortable and quiet. We had stayed there before and enjoyed it very much. We will probably stay there on future occasions. It is close to both Monterey and Carmel. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
