Holiday Inn Express Marina

The hotel was clean but that was about all it had going for it. The beds were HORRIBLE and the breakfast was at the low end of the hotel breakfast spectrum.

I booked 3 rooms at the hotel (one wheelchair accessible and 2 regular king rooms). The accessible room was excellent for our disabled guest and the others were comfortable and very clean. My only concern was the street noise in the room we had adjacent to Reservation Road. Luckily it was quiet at night but once 6:30 am rolled around the trucks were pretty loud. If you stay there...request a room away from the street if possible. The staff was very friendly and helpful and as with other Express hotels....the included breakfast was a deal sweetener along with the relatively low nightly cost. The hotel is about 7 miles from the Monterey Cannery Row and it was a quick and easy drive there. All in all it was a great choice for our group!

This was the 2nd Expedia booked hotel we stayed at on our trip. I am not sure if that is why we were put in the corner of the basement - Level 1. The lobby is and parking is located on floor 2, so I would consider it the basement. About 5am I woke up to the sound of water pouring, I thought the bathroom was flooding but it was just the thin walls and pipes. (My kids slept through it) The fitness area was small, with no sanitary wipes (kind of gross) very small pool. The breakfast was ok, everything was microwaved and put under heat lamps. Location is good, staff was very nice. I would not have wanted to stay for longer than 1 or 2 nights.

Second floor guests had children that were jumping and running in room . Called the front desk they informed me that they could not relocate me because the hotel was full .The Desk Clerk went up stairs to talk to them .It quieted down for a few min. then was right back to the running and jumping, it was so bad the pictures were shaking on the walls. This went on till 11:30 PM Worst night ever in a hotel.I Would never stay there again. In the breakfast room I talked to someone else they had the same dreadful night. Do not book a room on the first floor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was great. Just a little late of a check in. But was comfortable and cozy for us. The spa was one of our favorite parts of the hotel

Not worth the $ that we paid for.Breakfast was not good - food stayed in warmer way to long, biscuits and eggs were too hard. Pancake maker out of order.

The hotel was very clean, the employees were helphful and courteous. It was easy to get to and great parking. There's even a little park right across from the hotel for jogging or walking.

From the moment we checked in, and ate a warm chocolate chip cookie we were impressed with this hotel. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and comfy, and breakfast was wonderful, with an amazing choice of items. We would definitely stay here again, and recommend this hotel to friends and relatives.

Hotel was nice and clean and the staff was friendly and helpful, but there were 2 big disappointments. 1. The wireless in the room was flaky. We had to step into the hall to get a signal. 2. The complementary breakfast was the standard Holiday Inn express buffet, but with no fresh fruit.
