No hot water in the bathroom sink. Told the front desk clerk who just said some of the pumps don't work. Bathtub floor was dangerously slick. Mentioned it to the desk clerk & was given a terry cloth mat to place in the tub. Had to go a store to buy our own tub mat just to be safe. No major channels on t.v. (abc, nbc cbs)

Great property for a short stay!! Area around may be not the best for walking around at night as it is in a commercial sort of zone but has things close by!

Sherri was fabulous! She checked us in, very friendly and kind and helpful with suggestions. The first room we got unfortunately had an issue around 9pm. The shower flooded our front door area and the phone didn’t work. I went down to let Sherri know and she didn’t hesitate in getting us moved over and even gave me extra points on my IHG credits for the hassle. Amazing service! Overall comfy beds, pillows were great, very quiet hotel. Breakfast was excellent each day! Parking isn’t too bad except it could be a problem if they book all rooms. Overall 8/10 as the property itself needs some maintenance you can tell (our second room the toilet ran every 10 minutes or so, but we got used to it)

Hotel was nice. Clean and comfortable. Finished of hotel have been updated. But power went out in hotel at night while other buildings and street lights remained on. All room doors opened as the electronic locked unlocked. This made it difficult to get ready early in the morning.

You can hear everything from one room to the next. We were on the 2nd floor, could hear everyone walking around on the 3rd floor (all night long). Also could hear the over crowd of people at the pool till midnight.

From the minute we parked I was concerned with the safety of this location. Signs in the parking lot warned about locking my car and securing my valuables. Then I walked in and the front desk was "protected" by see through plexiglass type material. When asked the clerk said it was to protect the night desk clerks (and not from COVID.) When I asked about the parking lot sign and how safe this location was, the clerk advised that the local police usually did a drive through each night. I also asked about the $150 security deposit at check in as it was higher than I was used to. It was explained that the owners had just completed a multi-million dollar upgrade to the hotel and guests were stealing things in the room like the special desk lamp. Thus the need for a higher deposit. Then she proceeded to argue with me on a statement she made about Watsonville being the strawberry capital of the world. As I am from Florida and the local chamber of commerce publicizes that Plant City is the strawberry capital I mentioned that. She became very protective and said that's not possible. All around very poor customer service in my opinion. Then at breakfast, we were surrounded by what appeared to be construction workers or linemen that had stayed at this hotel - no families or other couples. Made me very uncomfortable. I question the safety of this hotel and would not recommend it; especially not for families for older couples.

Hello, Thank you for your review. The signs are posted as a precautionary measure as guest safety is a priority. We have had our plexi galass up since covid and have opted to leave it up for both guests concerns with Covid as well as to social distance our staff as again safety is a priority. A security deposit is common at hotel properties. Watsonville hosts an annual Strberry festival & Watsonville is known for its popular crop. I highly apologize you felt our agent was aggressive as this was not her intent, more to inform guests of the crop. Lastly we can not discriminate who our paying guests are. I am sorry that other guests made you feel uneasy, however we can not discriminate. Thank you again. We hope that you have safe travels in the future & will consider staying with us again.

The hotel/room were nice and comfortable. I did find some long hair in the bathtub and found the pool too cold to use. Breakfast selection was good and the coffee very good!

Had a very easy, pleasant check in. The woman at the front desk was one of the friendliest we've come in contact with during our trip where we stayed in 5 different hotels. Everything was clean and she gave me the extra bedding needed for the pull out sofa bed. We loved the room and the breakfast was also great. I couldn't imagine it being better. The pool was apparently closed but we didn't need to use it anyway and wouldn't have had time. After check out we were on the road and the next days front desk staff told me I left my camera. The housekeeper turned it in immediately and we only wasted a half hour bc of my mistake. My camera means a lot to me and is very expensive. No way could I have replaced it so I'm extremely grateful for their honesty and integrity as well. All locations could take a lesson.

It was okay! However, the sheets had a stain on them which appeared to be from someone else! I brought it up to housing keeping and they informed me to tell the front desk! The breakfast was a let down, not what I expected!
