Ok if you aren't too fussyPosted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: The size of the room was nice and the view from the 4th floor room helped make up for the need of repair on the outside.
Cons: Cleaning and repair of elevators and walkways. Coffee stirrers in the room.
Location: Location was good. Close to Alvarado street with lots of shops and places to eat and close to Cannery Row and the Aquarium.
The location is great and the hotel looks nice from the outside but the much of the place needs refurbishing, as others have stated. The rooms were not as some were pictured on the website but they were large and the remodeled bathrooms were nice but the carpet and the couch seemed like they were in need of cleaning. The rest of the room seemed clean though. Our first room had NO VIEW even though we requested one - just a wall in front of the balcony so we moved to a view room on the 2nd day. The exterior areas such as the walkways and elevators were in dire need of repairs. Compared to the price of many of the other hotels, it wasn't a bad deal but it wasn't a place we would go back to.

Place needs refurbishing. Chairs and couch saggy and uncomfortable. Bed ok. Our room on main street with loud traffic until about midnight, starting again about 5. Wood floors nice looking, but very loud if you have someone above you (and they arrive at 10:30 with roller suitcases and hard soled shoes. Was a nice walk to the wharf and front staff helpful

DisgustingPosted Oct 5, 2014
If you like black slimy grout, lumpy beds with dirty comfortors, noisy neighbors, and old rooms with no air conditioning you have found your dream hotel. They charge to park in their undersized parking spaces and serve stale food at their continental breakfast. Don't do it......

great end to a vacationPosted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: Location, room furnishings, friendly staff
Cons: parking in the garage was limited and tight spaces
Location: close to Bart to go into San Fransisco, neat town
We finished up a wonderful vacation with friends at Hotel Pacific. The place is beautiful, rooms large and nicely furnished, bed very comfy, nice bathroom with nice shampoo and lotions. Breakfast in the restaurant was delicious! I wish we had time to enjoy the pool area and spa, will have to go back!

We had a mini suite. It was huge with it's own entrance on the street and were able to park right outside the door. The room was not the cleanest. One of the trashcans was not emptied and the wood floors were gritty like they only swept and did not mop. The location was great, though and we were only there one night.
