Great views bad servicePosted May 23, 2014
I really loved the view outstanding, however, the staff are not friendly and the restaurant is super expensive with super slow service. And they charge my card more than what i have tip them !!!!!!

12th Anniversary Celebration!Posted May 20, 2014
We were there to celebrate our 12th anniversary and the hotel gifted us with a bottle of champagne having been advised of our anniversary by our thoughtful travel agent. The staff, hotel and location were amazing!

Gorgeous Ocean View! Peace of Mind!Posted May 6, 2014
Pros: Ocean view
Cons: Food. Mattress.
Location: Point Lobos -- a must see!
Close to view points and Point Lobos. 15 mins drive to downtown. Friendly staff, great room facilities. Food is not quiet meeting my expectation but i am comparing them with Fish Hoppers though. Mattress can be a bit tricky for people with cervic issues and lower back pain -- not quite as firm as the W or Westin.

great setting--room a bit smallPosted Apr 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
We were on a trip from San Francisco to LA and wanted to stop in the Carmel/Big Sur overnight. Thought we could squeeze three into a King/Ocean View room, but the airbed provided was not comfortable nor even set up for us and hardly fit in the room. The view was fabulous however, the lobby was charming, and the jacuzzi, while dirty and small, provided a nice respite. Took a short ride through the neighborhood on a free bike, but was hit with an unanticipated resort fee everyone pays that I guess covered... Overall, this was a high quality property in a fabulous and convenient setting a ten min. drive from Carmel and had the ambience we were seeking.

Mecca of RelaxationPosted Jan 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
This place is just above PCH in Carmel, with a view of the Pacific to die for. Our room was an ocean facing bungalow with a wood burning fireplace!! Great attentive service is abound here, the grounds are very clean and unique with a heated pool and a jacuzzi with a view. I highly suggest a stay if your in need of a relaxing stress free weekend. Oh and don't forget to dine at Pacific' Edge, the properties amazing restaurant overlooking the water.

Good location, but tired facilitiesPosted Jan 20, 2014
Location is very convenient. Perched on a hill for great ocean views. Facilities very tired and expected better for price. 10 minutes after check in already being approached to buy a time share-very tacky

Pros: Restaurants were both excellent.
Cons: Workout room could use more weight lifting machines
Location: Nice and close to ocean for walks and close to Carmel and shopping.
Loved the wood burning fireplace and the view of the ocean. Very romantic.
