More than we expected

Posted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Nothing
Location: It was close to the places we wanted to see.
I had never heard of the place before, but found it on the internet. It was perfect!! We will definitely stay there again. It was very quiet, comfortable, clean. Just what we were looking for and better than we expected. There is nothing I would change

bed and breakfast at its finest

Posted Mar 30, 2015 on Hotels
Our stay here was fantastic. Every amenity that I could have imagined was offered as a courtesy. Each of the rooms is equipped with a sleep number bed which we made extensive use of as well as complimentary water, snacks and brandy. The hotel offers hours deurves every day for two hours as well as wine from the surrounding Napa valley. No TVs but plenty of games to entertain the family and plenty of fun surrounding the area.there are always water, cookies, teas and coffee available and there is a three course meal served every morning for all the guests with accommodation of all eating needs. The staff will talk with you like you are their best friends and provide you with dining options and sight seeing suggestions on request and tell them to you from their perspective because they've lived the town for years

The perfect weekday or weekend getaway place!

Posted Feb 14, 2015 on Hotels
From the very inviting photos of the Jabberwocky Inn's rooms and grounds, it was the perfect place for a quiet weekday getaway. Owner Rick personifies "World Class Customer Service": from the very detailed, personal tour of the inn, to the wine & cheese Happy Hour, to the finely appointed rooms, it was a memorable experience. To top it all off, when I turned ill with a bad sinus cold overnight, Rick delivered breakfast in bed to this sickly old guy. I highly recommend this wonderful B&B to anyone who would like to have a great getaway that is conveniently located in the heart of Monterey with easy access to just about everything that the Monterey Coast has to offer! Many thanks, Rick--you are a fantastic host!!!

An excellent bed and breakfast in Monterey.

This is an excellent bed and breakfast inn in Monterey, CA. The inn has a great deal of history and the owners are very accommodating and friendly. You can tell they take a lot of pride In running the inn and attending to the guests. The food and beverages for the evening reception and the breakfast were delicious too!

Great themed B&B close to Cannery Row

Posted Feb 11, 2015
Stayed there one night and was treated like we lived there. Amazing room with a good view of the ocean. Within walking distance to Cannery Row. Breakfast was delicious and they even had a bunch of games to play when you have down time.

We would go gallumping back!!

Rick was very nice about my accommodating our late arrival... He even gave us an amazing upgrade into the best suite there at the jabberwock. The house itself was amazing!!! Filled with many original furniture pieces and knick knacks.. The house is well preserved and charming!! Wine and appetizers for the evening with milk and cookies to end the night..we were warm and comfy. Sleep number king mattress on the bed.. Jacuzzi bath tub...fireplace in the room..the night melted away. Rick made us all an amazing breakfast and they even sell their very own Jabberwock hand thrown coffee mugs!!

La maison d'Alice de Lewis Caroll alliées à des xr

Posted Jan 23, 2015 on Hotels
