It was priced much lower than other hotels near it but I was pleasantly surprised how clean it was. It’s not trying to be a fancy hotel.

We had a great stay at the fireplace Inn this week. Staff was amazing. Definitely going back in our next vacation trip to Seaside. Great place to stay.

It was a surprisingly nice stay. The first night, we were cold since we had the heater off. The heater was extremely loud and we did not want to hear it blasting while we slept. 2nd night, we asked for an additional blanket. Staff was extremely accommodating. We lost track of time and did not realize it was past 11 am for check out. They did not charge us additional fees. Overall we enjoyed our stay due to comfortable beds, cleanliness and quiet surrounding.

5/5stars! The manager at this Inn was absolutely delightful. He not only said “Hello” every day that we were out to go to personal activities; he also would ask us each day how we slept and how our stay was! The Inn was booked for a total of four young adults for a small spring break road trip. The prices were beyond accommodating ! Initially we were worried it was almost too good to be true! But we were all happily surprised. Also the beach is a total of 7 minutes drive and Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Road were ten minutes drive. Additionally the roads surrounding this location were easy to drive for non-California locals! If you’re looking for a soft, quiet environment, with affordable pricing while you plan to spend your days out doing activities, then this IS THE PLACE!

Hello,You had not stay with us. You are posting this review because of your mistake in making a reservation. We cannot cancel a reservation on a check in date. I also have your THREATENING voice mail stating that if I do not cancel your reservation at free of charge, you were going to post negative reviews all the platforms. You did not allow us a single day to look into the matter. I called you to clarify the matter, however, you did not answer. Your threats of negative review, and you following up on it, does not help your chances. It was not fault of ours, however, I tried helping.

Our room, bathroom, and bedding were very clean, updated, and in good repair - beds were comfortable, no excessive noise. Room featured a fridge, microwave, and smaller sized flat screen TV with cable. Parking was onsite and included - location had easy access to highway. It's in an older area, but we did not feel unsafe. Room had ample lighting, a desk/chair, table and 2 queens. Friendly and accommodating staff. A good value for the price and decent location. Denny's, Starbucks, and more nearby. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Power went out. Get it. Not motels fault. But ...closing office door and not even offering blankets to guests for cold night without heater? Not cool, not cool. Also, no refund or partial refund for night without power, heat, hit water. Not cool.

Adequate but cold and noisy
The modern, updated, clean room was miles ahead of other, more expensive motels in the Central Coast region, and in an area that felt safe. But my room was very cold (despite the very loud heater unit, which i finally had to turn off to sleep), and the room was noisy enough that i had a very hard time sleeping (outside street sounds, but also the room's fridge, heater, and the lobby/staff lounge area immediately next to my room, along with other inexplicable bumps and bangs). I finally dug out my earplugs and got some rest. I'd probably stay here again just because of the cost -- but I'd ask for a room farther from the staff area, and might not stay again in winter.

The manager does not speak or understand the English language and is inept/slow with computer skills. He repeated himself several times requesting identification while I was standing in front of him pulling out my driver’s license. Several requests for a receipt were met with a blank stare. I don’t blame him for his lack of qualifications or training; I blame the owner for putting him in a position for which he is not qualified. When I went into the room, the window was open. I didn’t notice (because the drapes were closed) until I got in my car ro go to dinner. So, I went back in to close and lock the window, but the lock would not engage. So I had to take all of my belongings with me. There was no safe in the room. While the room seemed clean, there were food droppings between bed and nite stand. There are no lamps, only harsh overhead lights without dimmer switches. Heat pump was the loudest I’ve ever heard, requiring me to adjust TV volume every time it turned on or off. The price was right and typically I enjoy staying at small, independent “mom and pop” type establishments, but I would not return or recommend this place.

Good little place for a great price
This little place was just what we needed. The manager/owner is top notch on service. The place was super clean and recently updated. They have everything you need (microwave and fridge!). Bed was just okay. Location is a bit out of the way and you need to drive places. If folks outside are noisy you can hear them, but we didn’t have much trouble with noise. Overall I would recommend, especially for the price.

This is probably the only place I will stay. My parents have offered me to stay at upscale hotels and I’d rather stay here. The price is cheap all I need is a place to put my head bed is comfortable! And instead of paying 300-600 dollars I save way more money and can do things cause I have more money! The manager is polite he makes sure that everything is fine with my stay that I don’t get from upscale hotels. If you don’t need to be pampered this is the spot and all around you are stores.
