“nice hotel”
Everytihng about the hotel was great except we did have have a bad experience at their restarant schonners. It was'nt the food though it was the slowwwww waitress. Other than that it was good
“Monterey's Finest Hotel!”
We spent our Thanksgiving holiday enjoying the Monterey Peninsula. We have stayed previously at the Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa, so it was our first choice without hesitation. The hotel's location, amenities, and unprecedented service were the reasons for us returning, and for the reason that we will stay there upon our next visit. The only negative comment would be that there are different room locations that can be quite expensive depending upon the view from your window, so if the view is important to you, then be prepared for high prices. This hotel is well worth the expense!
“Loved It!”
We had a great time staying here. Everyone was helpful and willing to do anything for us.
“fabulous”
Staying at this hotel was a lovely experience. We could leave our car there, and walk to the aquarium. Lovely ambience. We enjoyed the spectacular views. Additionally the meals from beakfast to dinner were well done. I also thought they accomadated children well.
“Very Nice”
Stayed here for three nights. Great location, wonderful service, quiet room
“Very Nice!”
We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay at this hotel!
“Fabulous find in Monterey!”
We enjoyed everything about this hotel and spa! From the comfortable oceanview room with binoculars, to the warm and welcoming staff, to the amazing hot stone massage, to the amazing penthouse hot-tub -- this was truly a fabulous find! It's a great location to walk around and explore, and the staff had great recommendations for site-seeing, dinner and other activities (including suggestions outside of the Monterey Bay area -- Katy's, in Carmel, for breakfast was awesome)!
“Too Pricey”
The cost of the room was high and breakfast was not included.
“Loved it!”
We spent our honeymoon there and it was perfect! The cost was high and the staff was friendly. The only negative was that they were not flexible about later checkout time.
“Great Location!”
Close to Cannery Row but not too close, and right on the ocean!
