Nice hotel. Away from downtown

Posted Dec 10, 2014
Cons: New beds.
This was a nice place to stay in. It was away from downtown so it was not difficult to find. Parking was a little limited. The rooms were clean but the beds may have seen better days. Easy check-in/check-out process and the staff was very helpful and attentive.

Convenient Pacific Grove location

Posted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: Convenient location to Lovers Point Park, since we didn't want to drive there. Friendly staff. The room included a small refrigerator.
Cons: Our room was slightly musty.
Location: 17 mile drive is a block from the lodge.
It is only a 1.0 mile walk to Lovers Point Park. Friendly staff. The room included a small refrigerator.

Great Location in Pacific Grove

Posted Nov 13, 2014
Pros: Proximity to the beach, golf, and downtown
The Lodge is minutes from Pacific Grove Golf Links and the downtown area. Oddly, the rooms are accessed via a patio door that leads directly onto the balcony, which isn't particularly secure or private. Still, the beds were comfortable and the room had all of the basic necessities for a brief overnight stay.

Olympia lodge, Pacific Grove

Posted Nov 11, 2014
I chose the Olympia Lodge because it was far enough away from Fishermans Wharf/Cannery row that I could have some peace and quiet. The lodge was just what I was looking for. The front desk staff was excellent, especially Amber. She recommended a restaurant that was excellent. Even though the lodge is outside of the main tourist area it was easy to locate.

Check out was the biggest pleasure

Posted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Room clealiness, bed/pillow comfort, overall presentation, much more
We'd originally booked this hotel because we stayed here 8 years ago and recalled enjoying it. Initially the entertainment center in our room was 2 feet off the wall. When I had the front desk attendant come to help move it, he mentioned, "Oh, they were painting". We returned to the room after dinner to find a STRONG paint smell. Not wanting to freeze(window open to help smell) or breatht the fumes, we requested a move. We were moved to a less expensive room (no balcony), yet given no compensation. The room was out of date, the pillows were horrible, the batroom was gross(mold on tub caulking), the cable was basic, when we tried to supplement that with streaming video (through a brand new mac book pro) the browser speed was inadequate. The pool is running, but 'closed'...Overall, you'd be better off staying ANYWHERE else. The one bright spot was Amber, who checked us out, but that was IT!

Not bad for the non-too-picky traveler

Posted Nov 9, 2014
Pros: Room was clean and comfortable.
Location: It's in a quiet part of town...easy walk to the beach & butterfly sanctuary.
Location was great.... how can you go wrong there, really. Ask for a room on the top floor otherwise you hear everyone above you doing everything. Staff was super nice and it was very homey. No frills. Comfortable, clean rooms.

Schönes Motel mit teilweise Meerblick

Posted Sep 18, 2014
Wir waren nur eine Nacht, als Zwischenübernachtung von Santa Barbara nach SF, Sehr schönes Motel, ich glaube als Familie geführt in das Früstück war auch nicht schlecht.
