Little paradise off the beat and path

Posted Aug 30, 2014
I booked expedia last minute and got a really great deal. I was afraid because I wasn't familiar with the town and I wasn't sure if I booked a seedy little motel or a slice of paradise. I WAS very pleasantly surprised. The room was great the staff was great and the bed was comfy! I will definately come back. Loved it

We did have a few issues with our stay, when we went in our room our ice bucket and tray were from "best western" , Our washcloth was mildly damp and had a red stain on it, and our toilet paper roll wasn't changed from the last guest who was in the room. On the plus side the bed was completely relaxing, too bad we had housekeeping walk in our room before checkout early in the morning :'(

We stopped for one night. Staff were friendly, bed was comfy... Wasn't too happy with the shower. But a good place to rest your head!

Pros: Staff, room size, good coffee
Cons: Not much, for the age of the facility.
Older hotel about seven minutes from waterfront. Nice people, very helpful with a last minute change in reservations. Rooms have microwave and refrigerator, rollaway was OK (and had all the sheets, blankets, etc. Very unusual!) Parking was OK by Monterey standards, e.g., terrible, but we had a slot when we needed it.

Nice Hotel and Excellent Breakfast Selection

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: Parking and the design, amenities in the room.
Cons: I felt everything good in the hotel and can't think of any improvement required.
Location: Plenty to do nearby including food, nearness to beaches and everything. Canary row is not too far away.
We stayed in this hotel for one night and our experience was great with free parking, free wi-fi and free breakfast. The choices in the breakfast were awesome and it gives good start to the day.

Not worth 110 USD but 60.

We kept waking up from the very loud noice of the air conditioning in our room and even from the rooms next to and under us. Also the toiletseat was loose. Other than that, the room was in a good condition and the bed was comfortable.

Great overnight stay

Posted Aug 10, 2014
Pros: It completely met our expectations, no surprises.
Cons: The toilet leaked and left the bathroom floor damp.
Location: Near many other Hotels and several restaurants within walking distance to choose from.
Comfortable for an overnight stay and perfect for our family of four. The rooms were clean, newly remodeled, fully stocked with towels, shampoos, soap, etc., wifi access and a continental breakfast with a good variety. The staff was courteous and notified at the time of Check In of phone scammers in the area claiming to be the Hotel staff and advised us not to give out any personal information.

Too far from down town

It was a nicer room inside than outside. The area is not my favorite.

A dump

Posted Aug 5, 2014
So it is in Monteey but $397 for a dump . Front desk was dry and made us feel like we are imposing. Room is ok but bathroom is moldy. Just felt like I so not want to step on or touch anything. We were on the bottom floor and could hear the top room creeping bed. But it was a long drive and we needed a shelter. I was sorry to see that Qualoty in had a vacancy light on. Embassy suites am was totally booked but for comparison their rate was $350
