Don't expect muchPosted Jul 13, 2015
Pros.. Late night arrival, coffee in room, microwave, refrigerator and blow dryer. Air conditioning worked great, large room. Cons.. Room just felt grungy. On the surface it was clean but the details were just not there. Hotel claims to be dog friendly yet there was no place for pups to potty... Signs all over saying to keep dogs away. Repair jobs on ceiling were not completed, paint scratched off walls, ceiling sprinklers rusted, etc. Coffee pot wasn't cleaned out from the previous night. Blanket on bed was thin and torn. Breakfast was lacking and we were told we couldn't take it back to our room. Overall, it was a bed but that was about it. I would not stay here again.

Nice size room, especially since we had a family of 4 sharing it. Very clean. Nicely kept property. Convent location.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in and dishonestPosted Jun 23, 2015
I was quoted $127 per night and when I got there I was told it was $169 per nights. I was given the worst room and they told me i was given the best room. I had requested to pay at the hotel not the hotel pay themselves before I even get there. I was told the rates will be $127. Not $169, I paid $190for one night at the worst hotel! Not happy or good for so I will not book ever again with Expedia.com for hotels.

It was advrtised as being close to Cannery row. IPosted Jun 12, 2015
The room was very old and dated. That chair in the room was very scarey. I would not sit in it. Extremely dirty and covered in glitter.

Okay for a short overnight stay.Posted Jun 7, 2015
The room was clean and the grounds were well maintained. The bed did not connect to the headboard, it would roll if you sat on it or moved around on the bed. The towels were not the softest they felt much like sandpaper. Overall, it's a "ok" place to stay for the price for a 1-2 night stay.

Not bad!Posted May 29, 2015
Pros: Price, location, clean
We wanted to visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium and be able to stay all day so we booked this room for two nights during the week. For the mid-week prices it was very do-able, clean and the bed was comfortable. This is an older building and there are signs of patches in the walls and door frame repairs but there has been noticable effort put into this place. Close to many dining options as well a liquor store, CVS and food marts. The mexican place that is shown on Google Maps in the parking lot is no longer there so keep that in mind.

Inexpensive Home Base for Exploring Monterey AreaPosted May 21, 2015
Pros: central location, good value
Cons: a little bit more breakfast options would be nice, towels very coarse and need to be replaced with softer ones
Location: restaurants minutes away, Monterey, drive Pacific Coast Hwy and 17-Mile Road
Just needed an inexpensive but clean and comfortable home base for exploring Monterey and the Pacific Coast Highway for a couple of days. This hotel fit the bill for this purpose.

Very poorPosted Apr 29, 2015
Location: poor location as well.
rooms does not get cleaned daily. No utensils in room to put in microwave oven. Even if room is cleaned then cups, glasses and coffee is not refilled. Staff not co-operative.
