“Great location”

“Nice location, close to the bay”

Overall, The Sea Breeze is a very nice motel. Room was very clean. The surrounding area is great, I used to live not far from the inn. Continental breakfast was basically muffins and oatmeal, but it's close some great places to eat. Within walking distance to the shore of Monterey Bay and some great trails, tide pools, and sunsets. I'd definitely go back again...

Area recommendations

The Alismar to Lover's Point bayside trail is a must do, especially if you like ocean breezes, watching waves, sunsets, and evening moon rises. Also, it's very close to the Monarch butterfly trees during migration. Pacific Grove is a jewel that must be experienced. It's out on northern point of the Monterey Peninsula. After a few visits, it feels like home...

“Not impressed”

The pool was across the street, it was freezing, so was the spa. The staff is rude. I think she could care less if chose a different place to stay. The management should hire a mystery shopper. The shower in our room never got hot, and the maintenance person claimed it was because too many people show at the same time! Def. not the case here! There are better places to stay on the Monterey Penn.

“Close to Asilomar, less expensive, but not impressed.”

This is a small property with mostly cottages. Unfortunately I was in one of the few attached buildings and my neighbors who returned to their room well after 10 pm decided to let their young boys run screaming through the room for over 15 minutes. The front desk was closed so there was no one to complain to. I had to call the party directly and ask them to please quiet down, as even with earplugs in my ears I could still hear them.The wall are old and not very insulated. The room was very cold when I got there and with only a wall space heater it took a very long time to get warm. The "free" breakfast is not offered until after 8 am and since I was there on a business conferenece it was worthless, as I was already off site by then. I chose to drive home late the second night rather than get another poor night's rest.

Area recommendations

The area is a nice and less expensive alternative to Monterey Bay accommodations. There were restaurants and shops on the main street section of Pacific Grove that looked inviting and interesting.

“Seabreeze is fairly priced”

Rooms are very small, but the location is excellent if you like to be near Pacific Grove (which we do). You get what you pay for, and this was a bargain trip so our expectations were met. The room is so small the TV is placed in the top of the only closet space - its viewable if you are accustomed to a TV being 6 ft off the ground. Parking is very accessible and convenient. Spa was across the street and dirty - pool not heated this time of year. Great neighborhood to walk around if you enjoy walking.

Area recommendations

We love Pacific Grove. Your close to the serenity of the coast/bay, shopping and good food, Monterey is close enough/far enough away. Carmel is also an easy drive. But walking is what we enjoy and PG is very relaxing and scenic.

We love Passion Fish. Not cheap but worth every minute.

“wall are thin”

“OK for the price”

I was visiting a friend in Pacific Grove. Motel was conveniently located, clean in nice location. Room was small & view was of large tree & fence right outside window. Tree had rag hanging off it, not pretty. Complimentary breakfast was fine.
