beautiful hardwood floors, fireplace in our room. Some rooms face the bay with a beautiful view of the beach below. Close to everything. food, entertainment, shopping. We walked through Pacific Grove and back. Love the atmosphere of this hotel. Decor is lovely. Have stayed here several times. Free breakfast delivered to your room.

I don't do frilly b&bs. They just aren't my style. Because of this, I had some reservations about staying here, however, given the reviews I decided to give it a try. It was wonderful and completely exceeded my expectations. We will be coming back again!

Wonderful friendly yet professional staff, beautiful room with ocean view. They give out unlimited wine and cheese certain hours! And a silver plater of breakfast every morning to your room!

The hotel is small and intimate which is good but it is the people working there who really set it apart. They are very helpful, cheerful and overall very friendly.

“Great Place to Stay for Business”

Highly recommend this hotel. It's close to everything in Monterey, and the staff will take care of your needs. Morning airline departures from Monterey are usually around 6:00 AM, and the staff at Spindrift will bring you complimentary coffee at 4:00 in the morning if you desire. Enjoy the managers receptions from 4-6pm and enjoy the fireplace in your room! Be careful of the season you visit, since I understand sometimes it's noisey from local bands.

“nice rooms, cannery row, beach front”

Really nice rooms and ultra nice bathrooms....almost too nice because we have two young kids and we had to tell them to stop jumping around like monkeys to not break anything. Right on cannery row about 1/4 mile away from the aquarium, drop your car off and walk everywhere. Right on the beach, kids loved playing on the sand and water, it was a bit cold but this is a general comment on all northern cal beaches.

If you can afford it get the ocean view room! Truly worth it! Great location on Cannery Row. Just down the street are several nice restaurants and live music every night at McFly's. Loved the huge breakfast every morning and fireplace at night. What a treat this hotel was!!!
